Overview

Shopify products sync automatically, and shoppers complete purchases through the merchant’s existing Shopify checkout. That ties video commerce to an established catalog and buying flow instead of introducing a separate checkout. Selected streams can also reach shoppers through iimpro’s marketplace, though the core fit remains a store already running on Shopify.

After a broadcast, iimpro turns it into a shoppable replay on the merchant’s website. Merchants can download stream footage and cut clips for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, giving a live event more potential use than a single viewing window. Making social clips still requires merchants to choose and edit footage.

Key features

Live product presentation: Merchants can feature Shopify products and interact with customers during live video. This suits goods that benefit from demonstrations or questions; it is less compelling for catalogs where video adds little to the buying decision.
Shoppable replays: Automatic replays let shoppers engage with products after a stream ends, extending the value of a broadcast without requiring another live event.
Social clips: Downloadable footage can be cut for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This supports reuse across social channels, but clip selection and editing remain part of the merchant’s work.
Analytics: Reports cover product engagement, clicks, sales, peak engagement moments, video-influenced revenue and live-versus-replay performance. These measures can help merchants assess which products and formats warrant more video effort.
Marketplace reach: Selected streams can appear in iimpro’s shopping marketplace, offering an additional discovery channel beyond a merchant’s own site.
AI guidance: Product and theme recommendations and advice on when to go live are marked as coming soon, so they should not factor into a purchase decision today.

Pricing

Starter: 0.00 USD per free. It is free to install, has no monthly subscription and charges 6% commission on order subtotals. That makes it a low-commitment way to begin, but not a zero-cost option for a store making sales: the commission rises with order volume. No paid plan is established here, so merchants considering a larger commitment should seek custom pricing directly.

The platform supports livestream shopping, shoppable content, native social checkout, product catalog sync and creator affiliate tools. Those capabilities broaden its commerce scope, but the commission means merchants should weigh them against their expected sales rather than treating Starter as free of ongoing cost.

Platforms

iimpro is available on Android, iOS and the web. Shopify syncing and checkout are central to its commerce workflow, so platform availability does not remove the need for a Shopify store.

Who it's for

iimpro is best suited to Shopify-based jewellery, fashion and skincare sellers in Australia and the UK whose products benefit from live explanation, customer interaction and replay viewing. It is a weaker fit for merchants outside that audience or stores that do not want to manage video content and post-sale customer responsibilities.

The terms place responsibility on sellers for listings, delivery, customer enquiries and complaints, returns, refunds and applicable taxes. Users must also protect account credentials and report unauthorised use or security breaches. Third-party integrations may access, process, transmit and store integration data as needed for their functionality. Questions can be directed to contact@iimpro.stream.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic Shopify catalog syncing and the existing Shopify checkout connect product video to a familiar purchase flow.
Pro: Shoppable replays and downloadable stream content give broadcasts life beyond the live session.
Pro: Starter has no monthly subscription, reducing the barrier to trying live commerce.
Con: The 6% order-subtotal commission makes the free-to-install plan costly in proportion to sales.
Con: Sellers retain responsibility for delivery, support, returns, refunds and taxes, so iimpro does not remove core retail operations.
Con: AI recommendations and scheduling guidance are not yet available.

Alternatives

Bambuser is worth comparing for merchants who want a free tier with defined usage allowances: its Free plan includes 250 views per month, two users, one domain or market and 10 GB of storage. Pinterest Shopping suits sellers prioritizing product discovery on Pinterest; product listings are free, while campaigns are paid. TalkShopLive offers another Shopify-oriented option, but its Basic plan charges $0.30 per item sold plus 10.25% of order value.

TikTok Shop may suit sellers who want to sell through that channel, with no setup fee and a 6% commission on each sale. Taggbox is a different fit for social content feeds: its free plan includes one feed, 500 views per month, 500 posts, manual moderation and updates every four days. LTK is relevant to brands seeking creator collaborations; its Launch plan costs 99.00 USD per month and includes 10 creators per month, $25,000 in annual collaboration spend, one user seat and one promoted brand.

Facebook Shops is another option for eligible businesses, with checkout availability varying by market. eStreamly is worth considering for merchants looking for hosted shoppable video, with its Starter plan at 39.00 USD per month, billed quarterly, including 10,000 views per month and 25 hosted videos.

Verdict

Choose iimpro if you run a Shopify store in its target markets and want live product selling to feed into your existing checkout, with replays and social clips extending each broadcast. The no-subscription Starter plan lowers the entry barrier, but its 6% commission and the seller’s continuing responsibility for fulfillment and customer care are significant. Merchants who need a lower commission burden or do not want to operate video and post-sale service should compare alternatives before committing.
