Overview

The compliance workflows include an audit trail, giving teams a record of activity across several recurring documentation tasks. EEO-1 reporting is included, so Harmny may fit organizations that need both reporting and routine compliance processes rather than a standalone form tool.

Compliance is one part of a 26-module product spanning Core HR, People Ops, Work, Analytics, and Engagement. The founder describes a broader focus on performance reviews, career frameworks, OKRs, and 1:1s. That range is a strength for teams seeking a shared home for people processes, but may be more than organizations looking only for EEO reporting need.

Key features

Compliance workflows: I-9, EEO-1, consent, and policy e-signatures are covered with an audit trail. This breadth makes Harmny relevant for teams managing multiple documentation duties in one system.
Integration and API access: Starter includes Google Calendar sync; custom HRIS integrations are an Enterprise feature. The REST API is available on Growth and Enterprise, so teams needing programmatic access must budget for a higher tier.
Enterprise controls: Enterprise includes SSO/SAML 2.0, SCIM provisioning, custom data residency, and a custom SLA. These provisions address needs of larger organizations, though custom pricing and annual contracts make this tier a more involved buying decision.
Security status: A SOC 2 Type II audit is on the roadmap. Organizations requiring a completed audit should weigh that status before choosing Harmny.

Pricing

Harmny uses a freemium model, with paid plans from $8/user/mo and a 14-day trial for Starter and Growth. Both trials require no credit card. The quoted monthly plan amounts and annual-billing rates are distinct, so teams should compare the commitment against their expected seat count.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Free	0.00 USD per free; billed Forever free — no credit card required	Up to 10 users, 5 GB storage, 2 MB file upload size, community support
Starter	8.00 USD per month; billed $6.40 / user / mo billed annually	Unlimited users (min 3 seats), 50 GB storage, 25 MB file upload size, Google Calendar sync, email support
Growth	16.00 USD per month; billed $12.80 / user / mo billed annually	Unlimited users (min 5 seats), unlimited storage and file upload size, REST API, priority support
Enterprise	Custom pricing; annual contracts available	Unlimited users, custom HRIS integrations, custom data residency, custom SLA, SSO/SAML 2.0, SCIM provisioning, dedicated Customer Success Manager

Free is the clearest fit for teams of up to 10 users who can work within the 5 GB and 2 MB caps; it has no time limit and requires no card. Starter removes the user ceiling but requires at least three seats, and its 25 MB upload limit remains restrictive for large files. Growth lifts both storage and upload limits and adds API access, but its five-seat minimum raises the entry commitment. Enterprise is aimed at organizations needing tailored integrations, residency, or service terms, with custom pricing rather than a published rate.

Platforms

Harmny is available on the web and through an API. The platform list does not include mobile apps.

Who it's for

Harmny is best suited to teams that want compliance workflows inside a broader HR platform, particularly when they also want to bring performance and people-operations work into the same product. Small teams can start on Free; teams needing larger uploads or API access should consider Growth. Organizations that require a completed SOC 2 Type II audit or only need a narrow reporting tool have reason to look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: I-9, EEO-1, consent, and policy e-signatures sit alongside an audit trail, covering several recurring compliance tasks.
Pros: The free plan has no time limit, needs no card, and supports up to 10 users.
Pros: Growth removes storage and upload-size caps and includes REST API access.
Cons: Free's 2 MB upload cap and 5 GB storage limit may be a poor fit for document-heavy work.
Cons: Starter and Growth impose three- and five-seat minimums respectively, and custom HRIS integrations are confined to Enterprise.
Cons: SOC 2 Type II remains on the roadmap, which may rule it out for buyers requiring a completed audit.

Verdict

Its no-cost plan gives small teams a durable way to start, while Growth is the more practical tier for teams that need uncapped files or API access. Look elsewhere if a completed SOC 2 Type II audit is essential, or if your needs are limited to a specialist reporting tool.
