Overview

JobNimbus is a contractor-focused platform for managing work from lead capture through sales, production, billing, and payments. It is best suited to home-exteriors teams that want those functions connected in one workflow; smaller businesses should weigh the plan caps, while larger operations should check whether Enterprise fits their needs.

Boards track contacts, jobs, and work orders, with automations, custom reports, and metrics to help teams manage their processes. The breadth is useful for coordinating office and field work, but the right plan depends on how many users, boards, and automations a business needs.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Lehi, Utah, JobNimbus identifies roofing, restoration roofing, solar, gutter, and siding contractors as its intended customers. It is relevant to buyers comparing Roofing Software and Construction CRM Software.

Key features

Sales and lead management

Lead tracking and capture, scheduling, customizable workflows, and sales automation give teams tools to follow prospects through a pipeline. Inspection forms, annotated photos, estimates, proposals, and digital signatures support the sales process. Advanced pipeline customization and custom fields offer room to adapt the system, while email sync and bid tracking add useful coordination capabilities.

Production and communication

Job workflows, tasks, material orders, work orders, subcontractor assignments, and supplier integrations cover the handoff into production. Engage adds shared-inbox texting, alongside automated texts and email, caller ID, review requests, and job sharing. These tools can keep job communication connected to operations rather than scattered across separate processes.

Mobile access and integrations

The cloud-based mobile app runs on Android and iOS as well as the web, gives office and field users access to the same business information, and can work offline onsite. Named integrations include QuickBooks, Beacon PRO+, CompanyCam, EagleView, Hover, SumoQuote, Sunlight Financial, HailTrace, and QXO.

QuickBooks Online works with Simple Start, Essentials, Advanced, and Plus, but not Self-employed. CompanyCam setup requires active accounts and administrator privileges in both products, and its integration is unavailable on the Basic subscription. Those requirements can affect setup and may rule out an otherwise suitable accounting or photo workflow.

Pricing

JobNimbus is paid software with custom pricing and a 14-day trial; it has no free plan. The trial offers a way to assess the workflow before committing, but teams should confirm the price and plan fit directly before choosing it.

Essentials: Up to 3 users, 3 project boards, and 10 automations, with standard support. Its caps suit a small operation with a contained workflow, but leave limited room to expand.
Pro: Up to 10 users, 5 project boards, and 30 automations, with standard support. It offers more capacity than Essentials for a growing team, though the board and automation limits still matter for broader operations.
Premium: Up to 19 users, unlimited project boards, and 100 automations, plus premium support and SLAs. This is the more capable fit for teams that need many boards or stronger support, but automations remain capped.
Enterprise: 20+ users, unlimited locations, automations, and integrations. Its scale is aimed at larger or multi-location businesses; the user threshold starts above Premium’s stated cap.

No plan prices are stated, so the tier limits—not a price comparison—are the clearest basis for narrowing a choice. Standard support comes with Essentials and Pro; Premium adds support with SLAs.

Platforms

JobNimbus supports web, Android, and iOS. Its mobile app is particularly useful for contractors who need access to shared business information in the field, including offline onsite use. Support resources include tutorials, training sessions, a help center, chat, request forms, email, and phone support.

Who it's for

JobNimbus is strongest for roofing and other home-exteriors contractors that need sales and production teams to work from a connected set of job workflows. Small teams can consider Essentials or Pro if their board and automation needs fit the caps; larger organizations may value Premium or Enterprise capacity. It is a weaker fit for buyers who need a free plan or require a published price before evaluating software.

Pros and cons

Pros: Sales, production, billing, payments, and communication sit within one contractor-focused platform, reducing the need to coordinate those stages across unrelated tools.
Pros: Offline mobile access helps field staff use business information onsite, even without a live connection.
Pros: Broad named integrations connect the workflow to services such as QuickBooks, Beacon PRO+, and CompanyCam, subject to compatibility and setup limits.
Cons: There is no free plan, and pricing is custom, so cost is harder to assess before contacting the company.
Cons: Lower tiers cap users, boards, and automations, which can constrain teams as workflows grow.
Cons: QuickBooks Self-employed is unsupported, and CompanyCam requires qualifying accounts and administrator access.

Alternatives

Roofr is worth considering when a free starting point matters: it has a free plan and supports Android, iOS, and web.
Centerpoint Connect may suit teams comparing a paid sales, service, and production package with per-user pricing; its Scale It plan costs $50 per field user and $100 per office user per month, plus a $7,499 one-time full implementation.
Leap is an option for buyers who want a paid roofing product with a free trial and a stated entry plan: Essential is $79.00 USD per month on a one-year contract paid monthly, limited to one user and five digital signatures.
ProLine is another freemium choice for teams wanting a free plan; its paid GOOD plan is $497.00 USD per month and includes three seats, production management, quotes, payments and invoicing, calling and texting, automations, integrations, and Zapier.
AccuLynx is a paid alternative with a Pro plan that includes AI-based automatic lead scoring, estimates and contracts, invoicing, labor management, work orders, and a mobile field app.
GiddyUp is another paid option for teams comparing web and mobile platforms.
Instant Roofer offers a free plan and free trial, with free basic measurements and paid premium report options.

Verdict

Choose JobNimbus if you run a roofing or other home-exteriors business and want lead management, sales, production, and communication coordinated in one contractor-focused system, including mobile access in the field. Its tiered capacity can accommodate different team sizes, but custom pricing, no free plan, and plan caps make it important to confirm cost and workflow limits before committing. Look elsewhere if a free tier or clear upfront pricing is essential.
