Overview

Plot is a web-based builder that turns a business description into an editable website, with a clinic-focused setup for patient-facing information and appointment requests. It is best suited to small practices that want to bring services, staff details and booking requests together on one site. The request-based booking flow and plan-specific AI limits are important trade-offs to weigh.

A clinic site can bring together services with indicative prices, clinician profiles, first-visit guidance, policies, contact details, a map and opening hours. Patients request an appointment time and receive confirmation by email; the practice chooses available days and hours and how far ahead requests can be made. That gives clinics control over their booking window, but it is not a self-confirming appointment system.

Key features

Clinic pages and booking requests

Plot says it has 168 designs, and that each supports sections such as booking, menus, galleries and team profiles. That breadth lets a practice choose among different layouts without losing access to core clinic features. Users can edit, replace or rearrange sections independently in the live editor, which makes it possible to refine one part of a site without disturbing the rest. Patient forms and clinician profiles are also supported.

AI editing and allowances

Plot generates a site from a business description and lets users edit the result live with AI. The free tier allows unlimited building and previewing, with all sections and themes and no card required, so a practice can shape a site before paying to publish. Paid plans cap AI generations, regenerations and generated images. Once a quota runs out, users can still edit and publish, but cannot generate new AI content until the next billing cycle; this matters most to clinics that expect frequent AI-assisted changes.

Privacy and support

Plot says it hashes account passwords, uses one essential sign-in cookie and does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. It says personal data is processed under the EU GDPR, with rights including access, correction, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, and that transfers outside the EU/EEA use safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Content a user chooses to generate with AI is sent to Google through Cloudflare AI Gateway and Cloudflare Workers AI. Starter has basic email support; Business adds priority email support with a stated response time under 24 hours, while Studio includes a 30-minute onboarding video call.

Pricing

Plot uses a freemium model. Its free option is for building and previewing, not publishing: it includes unlimited build and preview, all sections and themes, and requires no card. There is no free trial, so a practice that wants a live site needs a paid plan.

Starter: $19.99 USD per month, billed monthly, or $191.88 USD per year, billed annually. It includes one published site on a Plot subdomain, 5 AI generations, 30 AI regenerations and 10 AI-generated images per month, plus basic email support. This is the lowest-cost publishing option, but it does not include a custom domain or unlimited bookings.
Business: $29.99 USD per month, billed monthly, or $287.88 USD per year, billed annually. It includes one custom domain, 15 AI generations, 100 AI regenerations and 50 AI-generated images per month, unlimited bookings, email marketing campaigns and priority email support with a response time under 24 hours. It suits a single practice that wants its own domain and more generous quotas.
Studio: $49.99 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes three sites with custom domains, unlimited bookings on every site, 30 pooled AI generations, 300 AI regenerations and 200 AI-generated images per month, plus a 30-minute onboarding video call. The multiple-site allowance makes it the fit for an operator building sites for several practices; a single clinic may not need the extra capacity.

AI generation quotas differ by plan, and Studio’s generation allowance is pooled. The plan details give no seat limits. There is no annual Studio price in these plans.

Platforms

Plot is web-based, making it available through a browser rather than as a dedicated desktop or mobile app. Its headquarters are in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Who it's for

Plot is aimed at clinics and practices that need a website centered on patient information and appointment requests; its clinic example focuses on a dental practice. It is a stronger fit for clinics that want control over service, staff and first-visit content than for those whose priority is instant appointment confirmation, since patients submit requests and receive email confirmation.

Pros and cons

Pros: Clinic-specific sections cover services, indicative prices, staff, policies and first-visit information, so a practice can provide useful context alongside booking requests.
Pros: Every design supports the named booking and team sections, and independent section editing helps clinics adjust a page without reshaping the whole site.
Pros: The free build-and-preview option lets a clinic prepare a site before committing to a publishing plan.
Cons: Starter publishes only to a Plot subdomain; clinics wanting a custom domain must choose Business or Studio.
Cons: AI quotas can pause new generations until the next billing cycle, even though editing and publishing remain available.
Cons: Booking is request-based, with confirmation by email, rather than an automatically confirmed slot.

Alternatives

For a broader category comparison, see Medical Website Builders or the more focused Dental Website Builders. Practices prioritizing a free site with a custom domain can consider Therapy.Page, which has no paid tiers. Willow Practice offers a free individual-therapist profile with a standard booking button and minimal template, a narrower free starting point. If the need is clinic operations rather than a website builder, FrontDesk has a free plan with a booking page and basic dashboard; its free allowance includes 15 AI minutes per month, about six calls, 60 staff calling minutes and 100 texts. For other business-site categories, browse Gym Website Builder Software, Fitness Website Builders, Photography Website Builders or Portfolio Website Builders.

Fabricate, Latrexa, Fabricate, Practice Front and Jane are also alternatives to compare.

Verdict

Choose Plot if your clinic wants a customizable patient-facing site with clinic-specific information and appointment requests, and you can work within the plan’s publishing and AI quotas. Look elsewhere if you need appointments confirmed automatically or want a custom domain on the lowest paid tier.
