Overview

RMS compares workload and forecast volumes with capacity, highlights bottlenecks, and estimates needs by skill or profile across multiple planning horizons. Managers can use those estimates to adjust allocation by task or job, rather than relying solely on after-the-fact productivity tracking.

Its analytics cover worker performance and warehouse productivity, support labor standards, and can feed payroll tools and incentive programs. Generix says automating forecasts and resource organization can cut labor costs by up to 25%. That is a vendor claim, not a guaranteed saving, and actual results will depend on operations.

Key features

Planning and forecasting

Smart planning applies operational-research algorithms to configurable goals and constraints. Teams can run planning simulations with no stated limit, a useful way to compare staffing and equipment scenarios before changing a plan. Shift scheduling and support for multiple warehouses add practical scope for operators managing several locations.

Smart forecasting is designed to apply AI-ML models to historical data from any WMS and inputs such as sales forecasts. The product page says this module will be released early 2026, so buyers should confirm its availability rather than assume it is ready for deployment.

Operations and integrations

RMS manages people, equipment and machinery, with analytics intended to help teams adjust utilization as events unfold, subject to lead-time constraints. It supports productivity tracking, labor forecasting, labor standards and incentive management, as well as wave picking, barcode scanning and shipping labels. These capabilities make it broader than a labor-only scheduling tool, though the facts do not establish how each workflow is configured.

Generix says RMS connects across locations to any WMS through its APIs and can work with WMS and HR data. Its supply-chain applications also integrate with more than 17 solutions, including Yard Management, Data Power, Carrier Portal, 3PL Portal and Order Tracking. The SaaS deployment and partner implementation and advisory support suit organizations seeking help fitting resource planning into an existing operation.

Pricing

RMS is paid software with custom pricing; Generix directs prospective customers to contact an expert. No free plan or trial is offered. Buyers should request a quote and confirm what the proposed deployment includes before comparing total costs.

Platforms

RMS is available on the web and through an API. Generix describes it as SaaS software integrated with existing WMS platforms.

Who it's for

RMS is a strong fit for warehouse and logistics managers balancing workload with labor and material capacity, particularly across multiple warehouses or WMS environments. Its forecasting, scheduling and productivity analysis address both planning and operational review. Smaller teams seeking a self-serve purchase, transparent price or confirmed access to smart forecasting should look elsewhere or clarify those points first.

Pros and cons

Pros: Compares workload with capacity and estimates needs by role or skill, helping managers act on bottlenecks rather than just track completed work.
Pros: Combines planning simulations, shift scheduling and analytics across people, equipment and machinery.
Pros: Generix says it integrates with any WMS through RMS APIs, supporting use across warehouse systems and locations.
Cons: Custom pricing and the absence of a free trial make it harder to assess cost and fit before engaging sales.
Cons: Smart forecasting is announced for early 2026, so its timing should be confirmed for projects that depend on it.
