Overview

Futureworks brings strategic priorities and execution into a shared system, linking goals across departments, teams, and individuals. Its 360 Vision tree makes those relationships visible, with filters and alignment status to help teams review how work maps to organizational priorities. Progress check-ins, reviews, dashboards, cascading goals, and advanced permission controls support ongoing oversight rather than goal-setting alone.

The AI Context Engine can turn uploaded PowerPoint, Word, or PDF strategy documents into actionable OKRs. That offers a route from written plans to trackable goals, while Meeting Mode puts check-ins and follow-up in the same workflow. Teams that only need a lightweight goal tracker may find this broader structure unnecessary.

Key features

Strategy alignment

The 360 Vision tree connects strategic priorities to departmental, team, and individual goals. Filters and alignment status are useful for organizations that need to see where goals sit and whether they support the wider plan.

Document-to-OKR assistance

The AI Context Engine works from uploaded PowerPoint, Word, or PDF strategy documents to produce actionable OKRs. It may help teams translate existing plans into goals, but it does not remove the need for people to decide which priorities matter.

Structured meetings and follow-through

Meeting Mode includes templates, timed agenda items, a Good News round, OKR status updates, and action tracking. This gives teams a repeatable way to review progress and capture next steps, especially when meetings are already part of their operating rhythm.

Controls and integrations

Role-based OKR permissions support differentiated access. Integrations include Jira, GitHub, Microsoft Planner, Azure DevOps, Google and Microsoft SSO, Microsoft Teams, SCIM 2.0, Slack, webhooks, and a REST API; Slack reminders are marked as coming soon. Futureworks says integration tokens are encrypted, permissions are scoped, and data is encrypted at rest and in transit. It also lists GDPR compliance, SSO support, and SCIM provisioning.

Pricing

Futureworks offers free access for 1–5 users without a credit card, plus a 30-day trial. That makes it possible for a small group to start without a paid commitment, but teams beyond five users need a paid plan. Paid prices are billed annually and exclude VAT.

1–25 users: 15.00 EUR per month, billed annually. This tier covers small and midsize teams; more than 200 seats require custom pricing.
26–50 users: 13.00 EUR per month, billed annually. The lower per-user rate suits growing organizations able to commit to annual billing.
51–100 users: 11.00 EUR per month, billed annually.
101–200 users: 9.00 EUR per month, billed annually. This is the lowest listed per-user rate and is aimed at larger organizations.

All paid tiers share the same annual-billing structure; the listed price falls as the user range rises. The pricing page says users can check in and update progress on iOS or Android, and build integrations through the REST API. Support is available at support@futureworks.no, with technical support requests directed to its support team.

Platforms

Futureworks supports web, iOS, Android, and API access. Mobile check-ins and progress updates are useful for distributed teams that need to keep goals current away from a desktop.

Who it's for

Futureworks is a strong fit for organizations that need visible links between strategy and work at multiple levels, especially Nordic organizations and public institutions with complex accountability structures. Advanced permissions, SSO, and SCIM provisioning support more governed deployments. Smaller teams should weigh the free five-user cap against annual billing for paid access.

Pros and cons

Pro: The 360 Vision tree ties strategic priorities to goals across organizational levels, making alignment easier to inspect.
Pro: Meeting Mode combines structured agendas, status updates, and action tracking, so review meetings can feed directly into follow-up.
Pro: The free option covers up to five users without a credit card, and paid prices decrease across larger user bands.
Con: Paid plans are billed annually and exclude VAT, which raises the commitment and final cost for teams moving beyond free access.
Con: Slack reminders are coming soon rather than currently available, despite Slack appearing among the integrations.

Alternatives

Browse more options in OKR Software. Consider Perdoo if a free plan for up to five users, Strategy Maps, OKR and KPI tracking, meetings, and Slack and Teams integration better match your needs. Weekdone may suit a very small team that wants a free tier for up to three users with full features and listed live chat and OKR coaching or support. Choose Devokr if a forever-free Starter plan for up to ten users, five teams, and unlimited OKRs is the priority.

ROKR is another option for teams comparing OKR tools. Axiean offers a forever-free web plan for up to three users with 20,000 AI tokens per month and core OKR tracking. Operately is worth considering for teams that want a free plan for up to ten users, 10 GB storage, core features, and community support, with self-hosted access also listed.

Profit.co may be a better fit for organizations seeking an enterprise plan with custom module and user-count pricing and a dedicated customer success manager. Rhythm Systems is an alternative whose price and service plan are set out in a Letter of Engagement.

Verdict

Choose Futureworks if your organization needs to connect strategic priorities to individual and team goals, then carry that alignment into check-ins and structured meetings. Its strongest case is the combination of goal visibility, meeting workflows, and governance-oriented access controls. Look elsewhere if you need inexpensive paid access for a small team or depend on Slack reminders today.
