Overview

Campaigns combine written stories, photos and video, with a choice between Keep-it-all and All-or-nothing funding. Keep-it-all suits fundraisers that need access to whatever they raise; All-or-nothing sets a defined goal and cannot run longer than 60 days. Keep-it-all campaigns can continue as long as needed.

Funds go directly to a connected Stripe or PayPal account rather than being held by FundRazr. That keeps the payout route direct, but organizers need one of those accounts. FundRazr has operated since 2009 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Key features

Events, teams and campaign extras

Event and peer-to-peer fundraising tools include registration forms, tickets, teams, roles, permissions and leaderboards. These give organizers ways to coordinate participants and track team efforts, making FundRazr a better fit for group campaigns than a basic donation page. Campaigns can also offer wishlists, rewards or perks, product variants, inventory and shipping, which broadens their use beyond collecting donations.

Payments and outreach

Stripe and PayPal handle payments, including credit and debit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Organizers can share campaigns through Facebook, X, LinkedIn, email, Messenger and WhatsApp, or embed them on a website using a widget or donate button. CRM and marketing integrations are available natively or through Zapier, with Mailchimp also supported.

Eligible organizations can issue tax receipts automatically at no extra charge. FundRazr says campaigns include transaction reports, analytics, privacy controls and anonymized donations, and that the platform maintains 99.9% uptime with daily technical monitoring. The ConnectionPoint Help Centre covers setup, launch, post-launch and troubleshooting, with contact support during regular business hours.

Raffles and online auctions are not supported. FundRazr cites licensing requirements that vary by jurisdiction, so organizers relying on either format need another platform.

Pricing

Both plans cost 0.00 USD per free, with no subscription charge. Their difference is how platform fees are handled:

Optional Tips: No platform fee; payment processing is 2.9% + $0.30*. FundRazr says 95% of donors cover fees. This is the simpler choice for organizers who want to avoid a platform charge.
Fee Recovery: No monthly, yearly or hidden fees; platform fee is 1% for a donation form or 5% for fundraising pages, plus payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30*. FundRazr says 85–95% of donors cover fees. The platform charge makes this less attractive when minimizing fees is the priority.

Both options avoid a paid subscription, but processing charges remain, and fee coverage depends on donor contributions. The 60-day maximum for All-or-nothing campaigns is another practical constraint; Keep-it-all has no stated duration limit.

Platforms

FundRazr is available on the web and through an API. Its website embedding tools extend campaigns to an organizer's own site.

Who it's for

FundRazr suits individuals, nonprofits, businesses, schools, sports teams and other causes that want to combine fundraising pages with events or peer-to-peer participation. It is particularly useful when a campaign needs team roles, tickets, registration, product rewards or social sharing. Organizers seeking raffles or online auctions should choose another service.

Verdict

Choose FundRazr if you need a flexible fundraiser that can bring events, teams and peer-to-peer participation together without a subscription. Its direct Stripe or PayPal payouts and no-platform-fee plan are compelling, but processing costs remain, one plan adds a platform fee, and campaign duration rules exclude longer All-or-nothing drives. Look elsewhere if raffles or online auctions are central to your fundraising.
