Overview

Weekdone is a team goal and reporting platform for organizations that want objectives connected to a regular rhythm of work updates. It suits SMBs seeking shared OKRs, weekly check-ins, and feedback in one place. Its broad scope is compelling, but the free plan's three-user ceiling makes it a fit for small teams rather than a lasting free option for many organizations.

Annual and quarterly goals can be set across company, department, team, and personal levels, with KPIs and metrics to track progress. Weekly Plans, Progress, and Problems updates add a cadence for surfacing work and obstacles. That combination favors teams prepared to maintain a reporting routine; groups looking only for lightweight personal goal tracking may find the team structure unnecessary.

Key features

Goals and progress

Weekdone supports annual and quarterly OKRs across four organizational levels, backed by KPI and metric tracking. Milestone tracking, advanced progress views, and scheduled goal reviews help teams keep objectives under review rather than treating them as one-time declarations. This is useful when goals need to connect individual work to broader priorities; teams without that need may not benefit from the extra layers.

Weekly planning and feedback

Customizable check-in forms, tasks, reminders, and calendar views give teams ways to shape a weekly Plans, Progress, and Problems routine. The format can make intended work and blockers visible, but it depends on people submitting updates consistently. Pulse surveys, five-point satisfaction ratings, public and private feedback, recognition, and one-on-one discussions extend the product into team engagement and conversations, making it more than a goal register.

Reports and integrations

OKR, KPI, and weekly progress dashboards, automated email reports, and exportable custom reports give managers several ways to follow progress and share updates. Integrations include Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira, Asana, Basecamp, Google Tasks, Google Sheets, and Zapier. The REST API returns JSON and uses OAuth 2.0 authentication, which is relevant to teams connecting Weekdone with other systems.

Security and data

Weekdone says it uses HTTPS and SSH encrypted communications, firewalls, and a high-security data center, while acknowledging that no security method eliminates every threat. It states that it is GDPR compliant, stores data in the EU, and can provide a DPA on request. Those commitments may matter to organizations evaluating data location and privacy requirements.

Pricing

Weekdone uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and supports up to 3 users with full features; live chat and OKR coaching/support are also listed. That makes it a practical way for a very small team to use the full feature set, but the seat cap is restrictive for the SMBs the product targets. A 14-day trial is also offered.

Pricing for larger teams is custom. The free plan's feature breadth is a strength, but teams above three users must look beyond it rather than simply add seats to the free tier. The pricing page lists live chat, onboarding, team training, webinars, quarterly OKR reviews, and unlimited customized coaching sessions, services that could be valuable to organizations adopting a formal OKR process.

Platforms

Weekdone supports Android, iOS, web, Windows, API access, and browser extensions. Its iPhone and iPad apps are intended for goals, weekly plans, and team updates on the go. Chrome and Firefox add-ons open and update weekly report forms from the browser toolbar, a useful shortcut for teams already working in a browser.

Who it's for

Weekdone describes itself as built for SMBs and ideal for organizations with 10 to 1,000 employees. Its mix of cascading OKRs, weekly reporting, feedback, and coaching is best suited to teams that want a consistent management process around goals. The three-user free plan can serve a small pilot or tiny team, but it does not match the stated ideal organization size; those teams should weigh custom pricing before committing to the workflow.

Pros and cons

Pros: Goals span company through personal levels, with KPIs, milestones, advanced progress views, and scheduled reviews to support follow-through.
Pros: Weekly check-ins, feedback, recognition, and one-on-ones combine execution updates with team conversations.
Pros: Dashboards, automated email reports, exports, integrations, and a JSON REST API provide several routes for monitoring and connecting work.
Cons: The free plan stops at three users, limiting its usefulness as a no-cost option for growing teams.
Cons: The weekly reporting structure relies on recurring participation, so teams unwilling to keep up with check-ins may not get the value of its reporting cadence.
Cons: Larger teams face custom pricing rather than a published per-seat price, making cost planning less direct.

Alternatives

Perdoo is worth considering for teams that want a free plan for up to five users with Strategy Maps, OKR and KPI tracking, meetings, Slack and Teams integration, and an AI assistant and coach.

Devokr offers a free Starter plan for up to 10 users and five teams, with unlimited OKRs; it may suit teams prioritizing a larger free seat allowance.

ROKR has a five-user free plan limited to one team and 5,000 API calls per month, with goals, key results, check-ins, and social login. It is an option for smaller teams that prefer those stated limits and capabilities.

Axiean provides a free plan for up to three users with 20,000 AI tokens per month and core OKR tracking and execution; consider it if that free allowance and focus fit your needs.

Operately offers a free plan for up to 10 users, 10 GB storage, core features, and community support, making it an alternative for teams comparing a higher free seat cap.

Effortbox is another free OKR option.

Futureworks is another option for teams comparing its published euro-denominated plans.

Profit.co is a paid alternative with no free plan and an Enterprise offering.

Verdict

Weekdone is a strong choice for SMB teams that want cascading OKRs tied to weekly execution, feedback, and reporting rather than goals in isolation. Its main advantage is the breadth of that connected workflow; its main drawback is that the free plan's three seats do not stretch far, while larger teams must request custom pricing. Choose it when a recurring team process and coaching matter, and look elsewhere if you need a generous free tier or straightforward published pricing.
