Overview

Evenpay brings job architecture, compensation decisions, and pay reporting into a connected workflow. Teams can build or import job families and levels, set pay bands, and identify employees outside them; during review cycles, managers propose raises within configured budgets and bands while finance tracks spending.

For transparency work, employees can request pay information through a branded portal, and the platform generates pay gap reports from live data. Evenpay says it covers requirements across all 27 EU countries. That breadth and the connection between structures, reviews, and reporting are useful for teams trying to manage these tasks in one place, though adjusted pay gap analysis requires at least 20 employees.

Key features

Pay structures and reviews

Job families, levels, and salary bands give teams a framework for identifying out-of-band pay and managing raises. Budget and band limits help constrain manager proposals, while finance can monitor cycle spending. Intelligent salary recommendations and a salary justification archive are included in Core, making the package relevant to organizations that want documented, structured review cycles rather than reporting alone.

Transparency, data, and analysis

CSV import and connections to HRIS, payroll, and ATS systems provide routes for bringing compensation data into the platform. Its integrations catalog includes Mepco, Netvisor, HiBob, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Personio, SD Worx, Leapsome, and Hailey HR. Advanced statistical analysis, adjustment modeling, scenario modeling, and audit reporting support more involved pay-equity work; the 20-employee minimum for adjusted analysis may rule out smaller organizations.

AI and security

Evenpay Copilot answers compensation questions in plain language, but it is an early-access feature that an administrator must enable for the organization. The company says customer data is not used to train AI models. It describes field-level AES-256-GCM encryption, a separate Google Cloud KMS key per organization, EU-only data processing, and ISO 27001:2022 certification. Anonymization thresholds suppress small groups in analyses, an important safeguard when reviewing sensitive pay data.

Pricing

Evenpay Core costs 4 900 € /year. It includes job evaluation, compensation intelligence, pay gap reporting, salary bands, compensation reviews and merit cycles, intelligent salary recommendations, a salary justification archive, managed joint pay assessments, and MFA. There is no free plan, so teams should weigh the annual commitment against their need for this combined set of capabilities.

Single sign-on is a separate add-on at 189€/month. Organizations requiring SSO should account for that recurring charge alongside Core. A 45-minute product demo is offered, and European partners can help with setup and advisory.

Platforms

Evenpay is available on the web. It can import CSV files and connect to HRIS, payroll, and ATS systems; the integrations catalog names several established HR platforms, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Personio, and BambooHR.

Who it's for

Evenpay is a strong fit for HR and compensation teams that need to define pay structures, run controlled review cycles, and handle EU transparency reporting together. It is less compelling for organizations seeking a free entry point, a low-cost standalone reporting tool, or adjusted pay gap analysis with fewer than 20 employees.

Pros and cons

Pros: Job architecture, salary bands, review workflows, and pay gap reporting sit in one platform, connecting compensation policy to decisions and reporting.
Pros: Budget and band limits on raise proposals, plus finance spending visibility, provide practical controls during review cycles.
Pros: EU-only processing, organization-specific encryption keys, anonymization thresholds, and stated ISO 27001:2022 certification address relevant safeguards for sensitive pay data.
Cons: Core costs 4 900 € /year and there is no free plan, a substantial commitment for teams with narrower needs.
Cons: Adjusted pay gap analysis requires at least 20 employees, limiting its usefulness for smaller workforces.
Cons: SSO adds 189€/month, and Copilot is still early access rather than a standard enabled capability.

Verdict

Choose Evenpay if your HR or compensation team needs job architecture, controlled merit cycles, and EU pay transparency reporting in one web platform.
