Overview

Skillspad handles a wide range of creator offerings, from ebooks and templates to coaching, webinars and paid communities. After a payment clears, digital products are delivered automatically, and files and videos remain restricted to paying buyers. That makes it useful for sellers who need access control as well as a place to list products.

Checkout runs through Paystack and supports MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer. Creators can request payouts to mobile money or bank accounts; GHS payouts typically arrive within 24–48 hours. The flat GHS 1 mobile-money or GHS 8 bank payout charge makes frequent small withdrawals more costly.

Key features

Sales, referrals and creator tools

Every plan includes an affiliate program with creator-set commissions and tracking for links, clicks and conversions. That gives sellers a referral channel without requiring an upgrade for affiliate access. Supported integrations include Google Meet, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, YouTube and Forms, which can complement a course or community workflow.

Richy, Skillspad’s AI advisor, generates 3–5 product ideas with suggested Cedi prices based on a creator’s profession and audience. The monthly allowance is 20 AI credits on Starter and 200 on Growth. This is a modest planning aid rather than an unlimited source of ideas, particularly on the free plan.

Courses and communities

Paid plans add course hosting, with upload limits that rise from 10 on Growth to 60 on Business; Enterprise offers unlimited courses. Community allowances range from one on Growth to five on Business, while Enterprise removes the limit. Video playback is also capped monthly on paid tiers, so creators with video-heavy courses should compare the allowance to their audience’s viewing needs before choosing a plan.

Pricing

Skillspad is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans billed monthly. Paid plans charge immediately for the first month when upgrading from Starter, so there is no free trial to bridge the move.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Starter	0.00 USD per free	10% platform fee, up to 25 products, one landing page and 500MB storage. It has no course uploads or video hosting, and limits creators to one brand and one admin.
Growth	230.00 GHS per month	6% platform fee, up to 10 course uploads, one community, 20GB storage and 2,000 video playback minutes per month.
Creator	450.00 GHS per month	5% platform fee, up to 25 course uploads, three communities, 50GB storage and 10,000 video playback minutes per month.
Business	890.00 GHS per month	4% platform fee, up to 60 course uploads, five communities, 250GB storage and 50,000 video playback minutes per month.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Minimum 3% platform fee, unlimited courses, communities, storage, video playback, users and teams, under a custom contract.

Starter is best for testing a small digital-product catalogue, but its 10% fee and lack of course hosting are substantial trade-offs for sellers expecting to scale. Growth is the first paid option for course creators; Creator and Business buy more uploads, communities, storage and playback alongside lower platform fees. Enterprise is aimed at larger operations that need unlimited capacity and a custom contract.

Email support response times are 48 hours for Starter and Growth, 24 hours for Creator and 12 hours for Business. The faster response target on higher tiers may matter to businesses that depend on the platform for ongoing sales.

Platforms

Skillspad is available on the web and through an API. Its supported integrations include Google Meet, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, YouTube and Forms.

Who it's for

Skillspad is a strong fit for Ghana-based creators selling digital goods or building toward courses and paid communities, especially those who want local payment options and built-in affiliate tracking. It is less suitable for a course-first seller who needs uploads on a free plan, or a small seller for whom a 10% platform fee and fixed payout charges would weigh heavily on margins.

Pros and cons

Pros: Paystack checkout accepts several local mobile-money options as well as cards and bank transfer, giving Ghana-focused sellers multiple ways to collect payment.
Pros: Automatic delivery, buyer-only file and video access, and affiliate tracking are included across the platform’s plans.
Pros: Paid tiers combine course uploads, community capacity and video playback allowances, with higher tiers reducing the platform fee.
Cons: Starter has no course uploads or video hosting, and its 10% platform fee is higher than the paid plans’ rates.
Cons: Monthly course, community, storage and playback caps on paid plans may constrain larger or video-intensive programs.
Cons: Flat payout charges of GHS 1 for mobile money and GHS 8 for bank transfers can erode proceeds when withdrawals are frequent or small.

Alternatives

For a community-first option with a free tier capped at 100 members and five spaces or channels, consider HuddleSpot. Daisie is another freemium alternative, with a seven-day trial offering full access. If open-source community software and unlimited courses are priorities, OpenCourse offers a free plan with unlimited members and courses. Pivot may suit buyers who prefer a paid, multi-platform learning community option with a 16.00 USD per month Starter plan. Circle is a paid alternative with a 89.00 USD per month Professional plan and a 2% transaction fee. Fora offers a free web-based Starter plan capped at 200 members and a Pro plan capped at 5,000. Learnify is another freemium option. Nas.com may suit sellers looking for a paid Pro plan with unlimited products and 10,000 members.

Verdict

Choose Skillspad if you sell digital products or courses to a Ghana-focused audience and want local payment methods, automatic delivery and affiliate tracking in one platform. Its free tier can validate a small product catalogue, but course sellers should budget for a paid plan and weigh the platform fee, capacity caps and payout charges against their margins. Look elsewhere if course hosting is essential before upgrading or if the paid monthly commitment does not fit your operation.
