Overview

FieldVibe is a field-service management app for solo operators and small home-service businesses that want job administration and customer records in one place. It is strongest for a one-person operation that can start free, then add paid tools as quoting, payments, or automated follow-ups become important.

Key features

Scheduling and client records

One-time and recurring jobs, visit statuses, and client histories give service operators a practical way to keep track of work and customer context. Profiles can hold contact details, notes, job-site photos, signatures, quotes, invoices, and visit history, so records can travel with the relationship rather than sit in separate job files. Past jobs and client details are accessible offline, but offline editing still needs an internet connection; this is a useful reference mode, not a substitute for connectivity in the field.

Google Calendar sync can display existing appointments and help manage schedules. It suits businesses already organizing their time in Google Calendar, though FieldVibe's stated calendar use is focused on appointments and scheduling.

From request to payment

FieldVibe combines a business website and work requests with quoting, scheduling, invoicing, payments, and reviews. Customers can pay invoices by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer. That connected workflow is a meaningful advantage for a small operator who wants fewer disconnected administrative steps.

Paid plans send automated reminders from a dedicated FieldVibe number, while customer replies go to the user's own number. Reminder quotas vary by plan and region, so businesses with frequent follow-ups should check the cap against their monthly volume before choosing a tier.

Pricing

FieldVibe is freemium, with no free trial. The Solo plan is free: one user, unlimited jobs and clients, manual reminders, a single device, a business website, and a price book. It is a substantial starting point for a solo operator, but the single-device restriction and manual reminders make it less suitable when work spans devices or customer follow-up needs automation. Quotes, invoices, time tracking, reports, and payments are not included in the stated Solo plan features.

Solo Pro costs 20.00 USD per month, billed $20/month, for one user. It adds multiple devices, quotes, invoices, time tracking, reports, and payments, with 400 automated reminders per month in the US and Canada or 150 per month globally. This is the natural step up for an individual who needs to invoice and collect online, but the user cap remains one and reminders are metered.

Crews costs 50.00 USD per month, billed $50/month. It allows unlimited users and adds staff management, roles, and permissions, alongside 1,000 automated reminders per month in the US and Canada or 400 globally. It fits a growing service team that needs access controls and shared staffing, although a business needing only one extra seat may find the jump from Solo Pro hard to justify.

Platforms

FieldVibe is available on Android, iOS, and the web. Multiple-device access is part of Solo Pro; the free Solo plan is limited to one device. The maker says personal data is stored on servers in Germany, with backups in Google Cloud data centers. Its privacy policy describes encryption in transit, one-way password hashing, restricted database and backup access, and Stripe payment processing under PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. FieldVibe says it does not sell personal data or use cookies for advertising or profiling.

Who it's for

FieldVibe is a good fit for solo home-service trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lawn care, cleaning, pest control, and handyman work, especially when jobs recur and the operator wants customer records, scheduling, and billing together. Its free tier also makes it approachable for a new or very small operation. Businesses requiring offline editing, more than one user on a low-cost plan, or reminder volumes above the regional quotas should look elsewhere or budget for the appropriate tier.

Self-sign-up does not require a sales call or onboarding demo, and customer support is available by email. That favors owners who prefer to get started independently, though it offers less immediate guidance than a scheduled onboarding process.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free plan includes unlimited jobs and clients, a website, and price book, giving a solo business room to organize operations without a subscription.
Pro: Client profiles combine notes, photos, signatures, quotes, invoices, and visit history, which helps preserve useful context across repeat jobs.
Pro: Online invoice payments support cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfer, giving customers several payment routes.
Con: Free Solo is restricted to one device and manual reminders, so a business that relies on automated follow-up must pay.
Con: Solo Pro remains limited to one user, while team access starts at $50/month on Crews.
Con: Offline access does not include offline editing, limiting usefulness where connectivity is unreliable.

Verdict

FieldVibe is a sensible choice for a solo service professional who wants a free place to manage unlimited jobs and clients, with a clear paid upgrade for invoicing, online payments, and automated reminders. Choose it when that all-in-one workflow matters more than offline editing or low-cost multi-user access; teams needing shared seats should weigh the $50/month Crews tier against alternatives.
