Overview

DriveCentric is an automotive CRM and AI engagement platform built for dealerships. It is best suited to teams that want lead follow-up, customer communications, and mobile sales workflows in one system. Its broad dealership toolkit is a strong fit for connected operations, but custom pricing means buyers should confirm costs and the right mix of add-ons before committing.

Key features

DriveCentric’s AI assistant can answer new leads around the clock and continue follow-up, helping dealerships maintain contact beyond staffed hours. Lead routing, lead-source capture, SMS, and workflow automation support a structured process from inquiry to response; teams that need deeper automation should assess whether the listed add-ons cover their workflow.

Texting, email, calls, and video sit in one customer communication workflow. That consolidation can help sales teams keep interactions together rather than spread across separate channels. The mobile app extends the CRM to dealership staff on the move, with task and pipeline management, real-time alerts, and personalized video messaging.

DMS integrations include CDK Global, Dealertrack, Reynolds and Reynolds, and Tekion. This makes DriveCentric relevant to dealerships using those systems, though buyers should confirm their specific integration requirements. Optional products include Automation Hub, AIM, Desking, Genius Reply, chat, Reputation Management, and Service Pipeline. Service Engagement Hub extends the company’s customer-engagement and AI offering to fixed operations and service BDC teams.

DriveCentric says it holds ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 certifications and a SOC 2 Type II report covering Security, Availability, and Confidentiality. Its stated controls include encryption in transit and at rest, two-factor authentication, network segmentation, code scanning, and third-party penetration testing. Subscriptions include live chat and phone support, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and on-demand DriveUniversity training; the mobile app page also advertises one-tap support access with a response time under one minute.

Pricing

Engagement Hub

Engagement Hub uses custom pricing, billed annually or under a multi-year agreement and invoiced monthly. Pricing is based on rooftop and units sold, with add-ons available. This model suits dealerships prepared to scope a quote around their operation, but it makes direct price comparison difficult until the rooftop count, sales volume, and add-ons are settled.

There are no published plan prices or seat and usage quotas to compare. Ask which capabilities are included in the base subscription and how any add-ons affect the total contract before choosing a term.

Platforms

DriveCentric supports Android, iOS, and web. The mobile app’s task and pipeline tools, alerts, and personalized video features make it more than a companion for checking leads; teams can keep customer work moving away from a desk.

Who it's for

DriveCentric is a strong candidate for dealerships seeking a combined CRM and engagement platform, especially those that want round-the-clock AI lead follow-up, several customer communication channels, and DMS connectivity with a named provider. Its mobile workflow and support offering may also suit teams that need staff to respond while away from the showroom.

It is a less straightforward choice for buyers who need a fixed public price, a clearly defined self-serve tier, or a narrow CRM without optional products to evaluate. Dealerships focused on fixed operations can consider Service Engagement Hub as part of the offering, but should establish which product and add-ons fit their service workflow.

Pros and cons

Pros: AI follow-up can respond to new leads around the clock, helping reduce reliance on staffed hours for an initial response.
Pros: Text, email, calls, and video are brought into one workflow, while the mobile app supports tasks, pipelines, alerts, and personalized video.
Pros: DMS integrations include several established dealership systems, and the security program includes named certifications, a SOC 2 Type II report, and specific controls.
Cons: Custom, rooftop- and sales-based pricing requires a quote, so dealerships cannot readily compare costs from a posted rate.
Cons: Add-ons span multiple functions, making it important to establish what the base subscription includes and what the desired workflow will cost.

Verdict

Choose DriveCentric if your dealership wants AI-assisted lead follow-up, connected customer communications, mobile sales workflows, and DMS integrations in one platform. Its main advantage is the breadth of that dealership-focused engagement toolkit, backed by substantial stated security controls and support. Look elsewhere if you need transparent pricing or a defined seat-based entry plan; the quote depends on rooftop and unit volume, with add-ons to assess.
