Overview

Contractor+ brings customer management, job operations, and business administration together for more than 30 industries, including HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, roofing, general contracting, and handyman services. That broad scope is useful for contractors seeking a shared workflow across customer records, scheduling, field service, and billing, rather than a tool focused on only one task.

Online payments, payment requests, and recurring invoices extend the billing workflow. QuickBooks Online automatically syncs estimates, invoices, and client data, which can reduce duplicate entry for businesses already using that accounting system.

Key features

Customer and field operations

CRM and lead generation sit alongside project and field-service management, scheduling, communications, and a client portal. Time and mileage tracking and bookkeeping broaden the administrative coverage, while AI tools are also part of the feature set. This range makes Contractor+ a plausible central workspace for a small trade business, though the feature list alone does not establish how deeply each workflow is handled.

Estimates, invoices, and integrations

The free FREEDOM plan allows up to five estimates or invoices per month; PRO removes that cap with unlimited estimates and invoices. That distinction matters quickly for businesses billing frequently. The integrations page names suppliers and services including ABC Supply, Ace Hardware, Angi Leads, CompanyCam, EagleView, Hover, Lowe's, NEXT Insurance, QXO, Thumbtack, and Wisetack, alongside QuickBooks Online.

For enterprise customers and strategic integration partners, the developer API can expose more than 400 endpoints. Its listed operations cover contacts, properties, jobs, work orders, estimates, invoices, expenses, requests, and opportunities; communications are marked as coming soon. This is most relevant to organizations with integration needs, rather than contractors seeking a simple out-of-the-box setup.

Pricing

FREEDOM is free forever and includes basic CRM, up to 250 leads and clients, and up to five estimates or invoices per month, with web, mobile, and tablet access. It is a sensible starting point for a solo contractor with modest lead volume and occasional billing, but both the customer ceiling and document quota can become restrictive.

PRO costs 29.00 USD per month for one user and includes unlimited leads and clients plus unlimited estimates and invoices. It is the clearest fit for an individual contractor who has outgrown the free caps. PRO TEAM costs 58.00 USD per month with the first two users included; each additional user costs $20/month, making it the relevant step for a small crew that needs multiple seats.

MAX costs 500.00 USD per month and includes unlimited users plus $1K/yr in Voice credits and $1K/yr in AI credits. It is aimed at larger teams that need broad seat access and those credits; the price is a substantial jump from the smaller plans. A 14-day trial is available for most premium features, including job scheduling and team chat.

Annual contracts are billed upfront in one invoice, and prices exclude VAT and sales tax where applicable. Customers can cancel at any time through self-service, but sales are final with no refunds. The pricing note gives paid plans as starting at $29/user/mo.

Platforms

Contractor+ supports Android, iOS, and web. The free plan also states access on web, mobile, and tablet, so contractors can use it across desktop and field devices.

Who it's for

Contractor+ is best suited to trade businesses that want customer, job, scheduling, and billing tools in one platform, with a particularly straightforward case for QuickBooks Online users. FREEDOM can serve a low-volume solo operator; PRO suits an individual with regular estimates and invoices, while PRO TEAM is more appropriate when two or more people need access. MAX is intended for businesses needing unlimited users and its included Voice and AI credits.

It is less compelling for someone who only needs a basic invoicing tool or whose lead and document volume fits comfortably within a simpler free option. The free caps make it a limited long-term choice for busy contractors.

Pros and cons

Pros: CRM, field-service management, scheduling, estimating, invoicing, and customer communications are combined, reducing the need to assemble those core workflows across separate tools.
Pros: QuickBooks Online syncs estimates, invoices, and client data automatically, a practical advantage for businesses already using it.
Pros: Android, iOS, and web access support a mix of office and field work.
Cons: FREEDOM caps leads and clients at 250 and estimates or invoices at five per month, limiting its usefulness as a business grows.
Cons: PRO is limited to one user; adding team access means moving to PRO TEAM or paying for extra seats.
Cons: Annual contracts require an upfront invoice, and sales are final with no refunds.

Alternatives

Fieseros is worth considering if a free plan with a lifetime allowance of 100 jobs, quotes, estimates, invoices, payments, and before-and-after photos better matches a smaller workload.

FieldVibe suits a solo operator who prioritizes unlimited jobs and clients on its free one-user plan, alongside manual reminders, a price book, and a business website.

Housecall Pro is an option for businesses willing to use paid plans, with Basic at 59.00 USD per month billed annually for one user and Essentials at 149.00 USD per month billed annually for five users.

Markate may suit buyers looking for a paid contractor-software option with a free trial.

Jobber is another contractor-software option, with plans ranging from one-user tiers to a five-user Plus plan.

Workiz is worth comparing if unlimited jobs, invoices, estimates, and clients are central requirements; its Standard plan also includes five automations.

Kickserv may fit a team comparing fixed monthly plans, including Start at 60.00 USD per month for five users and Run at 119.00 USD per month for ten users.

Worky is an alternative with a Starter plan at 39.00 USD per month per user, billed monthly, covering clients, requests, quotes, one-time jobs, scheduling, and invoices.

Browse Handyman Software, Contractor Invoicing Software, or Plumbing Software to compare options by trade or workflow.

Verdict

Contractor+ is a strong fit for contractors who want customer management, field operations, and billing in one place, particularly when QuickBooks Online is already part of the business. The free plan is useful for a low-volume start, but its customer and invoice caps make PRO the more realistic choice for ongoing use. Look elsewhere if you need broad team access at a lower cost or only need a narrowly focused billing tool.
