Overview

Pepperi brings B2B ecommerce, mobile order taking, retail execution, van sales, and inside sales together. That breadth can make sense for businesses coordinating office and field teams, especially where orders, customer-specific pricing, and store work need to connect to back-office systems. It is a larger operational fit than a basic order-entry app, so buyers should weigh the configuration and integration work against the value of consolidating these functions.

Workflows, forms, business rules, and dashboards can be configured without code. Product ordering supports catalog search and browsing, barcode scanning, predefined order lists, and order validation. In practice, those options support varied ordering routines, while approval workflows can add a control step before orders proceed.

Key features

Field sales and retail execution

Retail execution includes store audits, planogram support, stock taking, in-store activities, and order capture. That combination is useful when representatives need to record both sales and store conditions during visits. Pepperi's native iOS and Android apps support offline use, syncing data and logic; this helps field work continue without a live connection. Payments are a notable exception: ePayment requires online connectivity.

Pricing and integrations

Customer-specific price lists, multiple currencies, and discounts at item, account, category, or brand level give businesses room to reflect complex commercial arrangements. Pepperi says its code-free, two-way plugins connect with more than 60 ERP, CRM, and accounting systems, including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Other directory integrations include PayPal, Power BI, HubSpot, Zapier, DHL Express, FedEx, and UPS.

RESTful and bulk-upload APIs, a client-side JavaScript API, iPaaS connectors, and webhooks offer additional routes for connecting systems or extending app functionality. The breadth is a strength for businesses with established systems, but it also makes connector fit a practical buying question. Custom payment gateway connectors require Pepperi Professional Services and a pricing inquiry.

Security and service

Pepperi states that it is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified and ISAE 3402 compliant. It says communications are encrypted using SSL/TLS, customer data is replicated across geographically separate data centers, and periodic backups are archived. Certificates and related reports are available on request. iPaaS maintenance is covered by its standard support program.

Pricing

Pepperi uses custom pricing: contact the company for a plan recommendation and details. Plans are annual or month-to-month, and can be changed, started, or stopped at any time. Cancellations and downgrades do not receive refunds. Because no tier prices or seat and usage caps are provided, teams should request a proposal that spells out how their users, transaction volumes, integrations, and required services affect the total cost.

Platforms

Pepperi supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Native mobile apps and offline capabilities are particularly relevant to field teams; online connectivity is still required for ePayment.

Who it's for

Pepperi is best suited to consumer goods and brand manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers that need a shared platform for commerce and field execution. It is less compelling for a small team that only needs straightforward order capture or wants to start with a free plan and published pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros: Combines ecommerce, order taking, van and inside sales, and retail execution, reducing the need to treat each channel as a separate workflow.
Pros: Offline-capable native apps and configurable workflows support field teams working under different conditions and processes.
Pros: Customer-level pricing controls and a broad set of plugins, APIs, and connectors can accommodate complex B2B operations.
Cons: Custom pricing makes cost comparison harder before a sales discussion, and cancellation or downgrade refunds are not offered.
Cons: ePayment cannot be used offline, and a custom gateway adds Professional Services involvement and a pricing inquiry.

Alternatives

For a lower-commitment way to handle basic order entry, Simplisales has a free plan capped at 100 sales orders per month and one user, with manual entry only, one catalogue, and one price list; choose it if those limits fit better than Pepperi's broader channel and retail execution scope. Brandboom offers a free plan for product creation, presentations, and Marketplace orders, making it a better starting point when presentation-led selling is the priority.

OrderTaker is a paid iOS, Android, and web CRM and ordering app with an Economy plan at 50.00 USD per month billed annually; consider it when that ordering-and-CRM scope is a closer match. Onsight has a Starter plan at 54.00 USD per month per user, capped at 1,000 products, 1,000 customers, and 500 orders per month, so it may suit a team that prefers published per-user pricing and defined quotas.

OrderEase is another paid option for web and mobile. Zoey starts at 600.00 USD per month for one user license and 50 included accounts, which may fit buyers evaluating a priced alternative with account limits. FieldAssist focuses on field sales and distribution workflows, with offline-first mobile operations and order capture, invoicing, collections, and returns. WizCommerce is another paid alternative.

Verdict

Choose Pepperi if your business needs B2B ordering, retail execution, and field sales in one configurable platform, particularly when offline mobile work and back-office connections matter. Its breadth is the main reason to choose it; custom pricing, online-only ePayment, and the extra service requirement for a custom payment connector are reasons to look elsewhere if you need simpler purchasing or payment flexibility.
