Overview

Proposify is proposal software for sales teams that need to build branded offers, follow recipient engagement, and close documents with signatures and payments. It suits individuals and growing teams that send proposals regularly and want more control than a document editor alone provides. Its useful combination of interactive quotes and recipient tracking comes with monthly send caps, so proposal volume should shape the plan choice.

Key features

A drag-and-drop editor handles text, images, video, tables, and shapes, while templates and proposal content can be tailored to a brand. That flexibility is valuable for teams that need proposals to look consistent without limiting each document to static text. Interactive quotes let buyers select optional fees or enter quantities, making the proposal part of the buying decision rather than just a presentation.

Analytics show when recipients open a document and how long they spend in each section. That can help a sales team time a follow-up around actual engagement, rather than guessing whether a proposal has been read. All plans support legally e-signed documents; Proposify also supports online payment collection. CRM integrations, including Salesforce and HubSpot, and connections to payment, invoicing, collaboration, and other systems broaden its usefulness in an existing sales workflow.

Proposify offers API access for external integrations and customization. It states that proposal links are encrypted, use 256-bit SSL security, and that the service is GDPR compliant and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Stripe processes payments and is PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified; Proposify states uptime of 99.9% or higher.

Pricing

There is no free plan. The 14-day free trial includes all Team plan features and requires no credit card, giving teams a chance to evaluate the higher-tier feature set before paying. Accounts can be canceled anytime, but processed payments are not refunded.

Plan	Price and billing	What it means
Basic	$19/user/mo billed annually; or $29.00 USD per month billed monthly	For individuals and small teams; 1 collaborator seat, 10 sends/month, $0.50 per-send overage, and unlimited document creation.
Team	$49.00 USD per month billed quarterly	For growing teams needing CRM integration; 3 collaborator seats, 30 sends/month, $0.30 per-send overage, and unlimited document creation.
Business	Custom pricing; starts at $3,900/year	For organizations needing control and visibility at scale; 5 collaborator seats, 75 sends/month, and $0.75 per-send overage.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom sends/month and custom overage rate.

Unlimited document creation does not mean unlimited sending: the monthly send allowance is the practical constraint, and overage rates differ by plan. Basic keeps the entry cost lower but has one seat and only 10 sends, making it a better fit for an individual or small operation than a shared sales team. Team raises the allowance and seats, but its $49.00 USD per month price is billed quarterly. Business adds scale-oriented capacity and visibility, but its starting annual commitment is a substantial step up. Choose the annual Basic price only if that billing term suits you; the monthly Basic option costs more per month.

Platforms

Proposal creation and sending happen in the browser, with active editing support for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. The iOS companion app is for monitoring proposal activity, not creating or sending proposals. Proposify also provides API access.

Who it's for

Proposify is a strong fit for sales teams that need branded proposals, interactive quoting, recipient-level engagement signals, and signatures in one workflow. Basic can suit an individual with modest sending needs; Team is aimed at growing teams that need CRM integration and more collaborator seats. Organizations that need higher sending volume and control can consider Business, while low-volume users who need a free plan or teams that create and send proposals on mobile should look elsewhere.

Email and chat support runs Monday through Thursday, 8 AM–8 PM EST, and Friday, 8 AM–4 PM EST.

Pros and cons

Pros: All plans include e-signatures, and proposals can also collect online payments, reducing the need to split those steps across separate tools.
Pros: Section-level viewing data gives sales teams a concrete signal for follow-up.
Pros: Unlimited document creation across plans lets teams prepare drafts without using up the monthly send quota.
Cons: Monthly sends are capped on the paid plans, with per-send overage charges, so frequent sending requires close attention to volume.
Cons: Basic includes only one collaborator seat; sharing work across a team means moving to a higher-priced plan.
Cons: Proposal creation and sending are web-only; the iOS app monitors activity rather than handling the full workflow.
Cons: Basic's lower annual price requires annual billing, while the monthly option costs $29.00 USD per month; processed payments are not refunded after cancellation.

Alternatives

For a free plan and Android alongside web and iOS, consider PandaDoc, whose free tier allows 60 documents per year and up to two recipients per document. If a lower annual entry price and a 10-document monthly allowance suit a solo user, Better Proposals starts at $13.00 USD per month billed annually with one user seat. Teams prioritizing unlimited electronic signatures and contract management can consider GetAccept, whose eSign plan is $25.00 USD per month per user.

Fresh Proposals is another paid, web-based option with a free trial and annual plans starting at $20.00 USD per month. For a free web option with small recurring allowances across proposals, quotes, contracts, and invoices, consider MyProposer. Create My Proposal offers a free plan with three proposals per month and a $29.00 USD monthly Pro plan with unlimited proposals. If a one-seat plan with 40 free documents and 60 days of analytics history is a better match, consider Qwilr, starting at $35.00 USD per month billed annually. ClientPoint is a freemium alternative.

Verdict

Choose Proposify if your sales team needs polished, customizable proposals that buyers can interact with, sign, and pay for, and if recipient engagement data will improve follow-up. Its main trade-off is that the send caps and collaborator-seat limits make plan selection—and potential overage costs—part of the buying decision. Look elsewhere if you need a free tier, substantially higher sending without tracking overages, or to create and send proposals from a mobile app.
