Overview

PTE Tutorials is an online exam-preparation platform for PTE Academic and IELTS, with practice tools, an AI Tutor and optional live coaching. It suits candidates who want guided practice and feedback, particularly for speaking and writing. Its free mobile practice makes it easy to start, but the pause on new practice-test purchases limits what paid test prep can offer right now.

Key features

The AI Tutor begins with a diagnostic assessment and builds a personalized seven-day curriculum. It covers all 22 question types in the current PTE Academic format, including two speaking tasks introduced in August 2025, and provides task-level feedback, scores and explanations in real time. Progress tracking and a study plan give learners a way to focus their practice; candidates who need a person to explain recurring problems may prefer to supplement it with coaching.

Practice tests add exam simulation, module timers, analytics, comparisons between attempts and score prediction. These tools can help candidates follow progress across tests, but new purchases tied to the existing system are unavailable during its upgrade to a new AI-powered system. Learners who need to buy mock tests now should not rely on this option.

The mobile app advertises free unlimited practice, expert tip videos and free practice questions. That makes it a practical starting point for short sessions on a phone. The site also offers a four-week coaching program with live interactive classes led by Pearson-certified PTE trainers. Classes run for one hour, five days a week; recordings remain accessible for six weeks. Classes may use Google Meet, and Chrome or Firefox is recommended.

Users can choose PTE Academic or IELTS at signup and switch modules in their profile. The company says it follows the Australian Privacy Principles and uses physical, electronic and managerial safeguards for personal information. Customer care is available 24/7 by phone, WhatsApp and email.

Pricing

PTE Tutorials uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes free practice questions, model answers and mobile application access. It is a sensible fit for learners who want to begin with no payment, though it does not include the paid Super AI plan’s stated allocation of AI-scored speaking practice.

Super AI has custom pricing, is valid for 15 days and includes 500 AI-scored speaking sample questions. Its fixed question allocation and short validity suit focused speaking practice, not open-ended preparation over a longer period. New practice-test purchases linked to the existing system are unavailable during the upgrade. Coaching has a three-day refund policy subject to conditions; purchased practice materials are not refundable.

Platforms

PTE Tutorials supports web, iOS and Android. Its mobile app is the clearest fit for learners who want practice on a phone, while the web platform also supports online coaching; Chrome or Firefox is recommended for classes.

Who it's for

Choose PTE Tutorials if you are preparing for PTE Academic or IELTS and want a structured study plan, real-time AI feedback or frequent speaking practice. The free plan and mobile app suit learners exploring the platform before committing. Coaching is better suited to candidates who want scheduled live instruction. It is a weaker fit for anyone whose immediate preparation depends on buying practice tests or who expects purchased practice materials to be refundable.

Pros and cons

Pros: The AI Tutor combines a diagnostic, seven-day plan, broad PTE Academic question coverage and real-time task-level feedback, giving independent learners a defined practice path.
Pros: Free practice questions, model answers and mobile access provide a no-cost way to get started.
Pros: Live coaching offers frequent classes with Pearson-certified trainers and six weeks of recording access.
Cons: New purchases of practice tests linked to the existing system are unavailable during the upgrade, limiting immediate access to that paid option.
Cons: Super AI lasts 15 days and includes 500 speaking sample questions, so it is a short, finite practice allocation.
Cons: Purchased practice materials are not refundable, and coaching refunds are conditional and limited to three days.

Verdict

PTE Tutorials is a strong fit for PTE Academic or IELTS candidates who want a structured practice plan, AI-scored feedback and the option of frequent live coaching. Its free mobile practice lowers the barrier to starting, but the practice-test purchase pause and non-refundable materials are significant reasons to look elsewhere if you need paid mock tests immediately or want more flexible purchase terms.
