Overview

Bonjoro combines personalized welcome, thank-you, and check-in videos with a separate service for gathering video and text testimonials. The messaging side can feed customer workflows; the testimonial side gives teams ways to publish feedback through website embeds or share it by social media and email. These are distinct offerings, so a team buying both should weigh their separate quotas and plan options.

Its main advantage is connecting personal video to customer processes. The trade-off is that the free messaging allowance is not unlimited, despite an unlimited-videos claim on the pricing page, and several paid tiers limit templates or users.

Key features

Bonjoro supports one-to-one and one-to-many videos, custom templates, calls to action, and embedded apps. This gives teams room to tailor a direct message or make outreach more repeatable. Starter has two templates and Pro has five, so teams with many distinct message types may find the lower paid tiers restrictive.

Workflows can use native CRM integrations, Zapier, Make, or CSV contact uploads. Bonjoro advertises connections to more than 1,000 tools, including HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, ActiveCampaign, Intercom, Mailchimp, Patreon, and Thinkific. That breadth helps when customer information already lives in another system; CSV offers a fallback, though it is less connected than an integration. Engagement tracking, CRM sync, email follow-up, follow-up workflows, and mobile recording are supported.

The testimonial service collects video and text responses. Its free tier allows 10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, one website embed, custom styling, and unlimited requests, with no video time limit. Paid testimonial tiers raise the video allowance and embed count and remove Bonjoro branding, making them more suitable for organizations publishing feedback at scale.

Pricing

Bonjoro has separate video-messaging and testimonial plans, alongside broader pricing cards. Annual pricing is advertised with savings of up to 40% for video messaging and over 30% for testimonials; the listed monthly amounts should therefore be read in the context of those annual terms. The video messaging Starter, Pro, and Grrrowth cards offer a 14-day trial.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Video Messaging Free	0.00 USD per free; free forever	CRM integrations, unlimited screen recording, iOS and Android apps, Bonjoro branding. The comparison section caps messaging at up to 50 videos, notwithstanding the page's unlimited-videos claim.
Video Messaging Starter	15.00 USD per month; annual pricing	Branding, CTA buttons, unlimited CRM workflows, one-to-one training, and two message templates. A sensible step up for teams needing branded calls to action and workflow automation, but the template cap remains low.
Video Messaging Pro	29.00 USD per month; annual pricing	Unlimited branded videos, unlimited videos, workspaces, video scheduling, and five message templates. Better suited to regular outreach across workspaces, though still limited to five templates.
Grrrowth	79.00 USD per month; annual pricing	Three users included. The broader pricing card gives a higher tier for teams needing multiple seats.
Company	399.00 USD per month; from $399/mo	20 users included.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	10 users included.
Testimonials Free	0.00 USD per free	10 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, one website embed, custom styling, unlimited requests, and no video time limit. Suitable for a modest feedback program, but the video quota is small.
Testimonials Pro	20.00 USD per month; $20 /mo	250 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, 10 website embeds, one custom domain, unlimited requests, no video time limit, and no Bonjoro branding.
Testimonials Growth	79.00 USD per month; $79 /mo	2,500 video testimonials, unlimited text testimonials, 20 website embeds, three custom domains, unlimited requests, no video time limit, and no Bonjoro branding. Fits larger publishing needs better than the limited free quota.

The broad plan cards also show Free at 0.00 USD per free, Starter at 15.00 USD per month, Pro at 29.00 USD per month, Grrrowth at 79.00 USD per month, and Company at 399.00 USD per month, with Enterprise at custom pricing. The listed paid video-message rates are annual pricing. The cheaper tiers give up template capacity or seats, while the free messaging allowance deserves particular scrutiny because the page makes conflicting unlimited and 50-video claims.

Platforms

Bonjoro is available on the web, Android, iOS, and as a browser extension. Mobile apps support recording on the go; teams that work primarily on desktop browsers can use the web experience or extension.

Who it's for

Bonjoro is a good fit for coaches and consultants, ecommerce sellers, nonprofits, SaaS teams, and universities or colleges that use personal video to welcome, thank, or check in with customers and communities. CRM-connected workflows are most useful when video is part of ongoing customer work. It is a weaker fit for someone who only needs occasional recording, or who wants to publish many testimonials without paying beyond the free quota.

Pros and cons

Pros

Several workflow entry points—CRM integrations, Zapier, Make, and CSV—let teams connect video outreach to existing customer processes.
One-to-one and one-to-many video, templates, calls to action, and embedded apps support both personal and repeatable messaging.
The testimonial free tier combines unlimited text testimonials and requests with custom styling and an embed, useful for starting a feedback program.
Live chat is offered, and support email inquiries receive a response within 24 hours.

Cons

The free messaging limit is ambiguous: the comparison section says up to 50 videos, while the top card says unlimited.
Starter's two templates and Pro's five can constrain teams with varied messaging needs.
Testimonial video quotas are 10 on Free and 250 on Pro, so a high-volume program may need the more expensive Growth tier.
The paid messaging amounts are tied to annual pricing, which is a meaningful commitment compared with a purely month-to-month entry rate.

Alternatives

Castify has a free allowance of up to 10 videos, 30 minutes per video, and five members; its Starter plan is 7.00 USD per month when billed annually, with a higher monthly-billed rate. ngram is a freemium browser extension and web option with no free trial; its free tier uses 600 one-time credits for up to 60 seconds of premium AI-generated footage, 720p exports, and a watermark.

Vimotion offers a free first-video Pilot with one hero video up to 60 seconds, two social cuts, brand-kit onboarding, and 1080p MP4 export. VideoProspect has a free web plan with two pitch uploads, five prospects per CSV upload, and 10 personalized video generations.

Verdict

Choose Bonjoro if your team wants CRM-connected, personalized customer video alongside a distinct way to collect and publish testimonials. Its workflow options and paired offerings are the main draw; the reasons to look elsewhere are the unclear free video cap, modest template counts on entry paid tiers, and annual terms on the listed messaging prices.
