Overview

Soxify is a SOX evidence workflow app for compliance teams that need to gather control documentation and assemble audit binders. It is best suited to SOX compliance managers, internal auditors, and IT control owners who want evidence requests and control records in one workflow. Its strongest appeal is account-free evidence submission; its main constraint is the sharp difference in capacity between the free and paid plans.

Key features

Evidence collection: Control owners can upload requested files through secure, scoped links without creating an account or logging in. That removes a hurdle for contributors outside the compliance team, though Free and Team cap monthly requests at 25 and 100 respectively.
Controls library: Versioning, locking, tags, and filters for domain, owner, or frequency help teams keep control records organized and distinguish changes over time. Locked records and versions cannot be edited retroactively, supporting a more dependable audit history.
Audit trail and exports: State changes generate events in a tamper-resistant log. Soxify says it can produce a formatted Excel or PDF audit binder in one click, and customers can export controls, evidence, audit logs, and binders at any time. These capabilities make the tool relevant beyond collection alone, but do not establish integrations with other products.
Security and portability: Evidence files are stored in AWS S3 in eu-north-1 by default, with metadata in PostgreSQL hosted on Neon; data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Exporting the core records and binders at any time also gives customers a way to take their data with them.

Pricing

Soxify has a free plan and paid plans billed monthly. There is no free trial, so the free tier is the available no-cost way to assess the workflow.

Free — 0.00 USD per free, billed forever free: Up to 5 controls and 25 evidence requests per month, evidence request links without login, an evidence pack export, and a full audit trail. Docs-only support keeps the entry point useful for a small control set, but the monthly quota and control cap make it a poor fit for broader programs.
Team — 149.00 GBP per month, billed per month: Up to 15 controls and 100 evidence requests per month, status tracking, reminders, audit-ready exports, and email support. It adds coordination and support for a growing team, but retains firm capacity limits.
Professional — 499.00 GBP per month, billed per month: Unlimited controls and evidence requests, advanced exports and change history, priority support, a risk register, and framework mapping. This is the clear step up for teams whose workload exceeds Team's caps or that need those additional compliance tools.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Unlimited controls and requests, a starter kit library of pre-built ITGC packs, CSV / JSON bulk import, RCM auto-generation, one-click period rollforward, an Internal Controls module for SOX testing, certifications, and dedicated support. Its tailored price and broader capabilities suit organizations needing these workflows, though cost must be assessed with Soxify.

Free and Team trade capacity for a lower-cost entry; Professional removes the stated control and request ceilings, while Enterprise adds bulk import and further SOX workflows. The plans are described as billed monthly where prices are given; no trial is offered.

Platforms

Soxify is available on the web and through an API. That covers browser-based use and programmatic access, but no mobile platform is specified.

Who it's for

Soxify is a sensible shortlist choice for SOX teams focused on evidence gathering, control records, and audit-binder preparation, particularly when control owners need to submit files without accounts. Free suits a very small control set; Team is a better fit when reminders and status tracking matter within its caps; Professional targets teams that need unlimited requests and controls. Organizations seeking broad capacity plus pre-built packs, import, or rollforward should consider Enterprise.

Pros and cons

Pros

Account-free evidence uploads: Scoped links reduce friction for control owners who only need to submit requested files.
Traceable control records: Versioning, locking, change history, and a tamper-resistant event log support review of control changes.
Portable audit materials: Excel or PDF binder generation and exports of controls, evidence, logs, and binders address both preparation and data portability.

Cons

Low entry-tier ceilings: Free stops at 5 controls and 25 monthly requests; Team stops at 15 controls and 100 requests, making larger workloads a reason to upgrade.
Professional costs more: At 499.00 GBP per month, unlimited capacity and added tools come at a substantial monthly price compared with Team.
No free trial or named integrations: Buyers must begin with the free plan rather than a time-limited trial, and the only named import option is CSV / JSON on Enterprise.

Verdict

Choose Soxify if your SOX team wants a focused route from account-free evidence requests to organized control records and exportable audit binders. Its free tier is useful for a small scope, while Professional removes the stated capacity limits. Look elsewhere if those entry-tier caps are too restrictive, the Professional monthly cost is hard to justify, or you need a named integration beyond Enterprise CSV / JSON import.
