Overview

BenefitHub is a benefits platform for organizations that want to offer discounts and perks to employees or members. It is best suited to employers and membership groups seeking a customizable program rather than a standalone rewards tool. Its breadth of savings and engagement reporting make it a capable program platform, though extension features can vary by perks platform.

Key features

Savings marketplace

The marketplace spans travel, dining, insurance, local deals and tickets. Members can combine negotiated discounts with cash back and discounted gift cards, while the mobile app adds local deals, travel rates, entertainment tickets and member-only offers. That range is useful for organizations offering everyday savings alongside formal benefits; it is less focused than a product built only for sending rewards.

Program controls and reporting

Organizations can customize branding, content and audience, and choose SSO, census, referral code or guest registration for access. SAML 2.0 SSO names Okta, Google, Microsoft Azure, Auth0, OneLogin and Ping Identity. Reporting tracks registrations, participation, visits, engagement and offer activity, with Excel exports or Microsoft Power BI access. These tools suit programs that need to measure uptake and tailor access, not simply distribute gift cards.

Extension, security and support

The browser extension is listed for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and can alert members to exclusive discounts and cash back. Feature availability may vary with the member's perks platform, so organizations should confirm what their members will receive. BenefitHub says it is certified by leading industry bodies for SOC2, HITRUST, GDPR, WCAG/ADA and CCPA standards. Its Help Center offers searchable support covering deals, cash back, travel, the extension and other topics.

Pricing

BenefitHub is freemium, with a free plan and pricing on request. BenefitHub Premier is 0.00 USD per free and is free to offer employees as a fully managed service. Premier manages communications and engagement campaigns; organizations start by uploading a logo, branding and a team file. That makes it a notable option for organizations wanting campaign management without a stated platform charge, though the offering is centered on an employer or member program rather than a self-serve reward-sending product. Gift cards, a redemption catalog, incentive campaigns, global rewards and HRIS integrations are supported.

For organizations that need pricing tailored to their program, custom pricing is available on request. BenefitHub does not publish a paid plan price in these terms.

Platforms

BenefitHub supports web, Android and iOS, as well as a browser extension for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. That gives members both mobile and desktop access, subject to the extension feature variation described above.

Who it's for

BenefitHub is aimed at employees, members and customers served by associations, nonprofits, membership bodies, unions, universities and hospitals, as well as employers. Its customization and reporting make the strongest case for organizations managing a defined audience. Someone who only needs to send occasional gift cards may find the broader marketplace and program controls unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Pro: Savings span travel, dining, insurance, local deals and tickets, with cash back and discounted gift cards as additional ways to save.
Pro: Organizations can tailor branding and audience, use several registration methods and track engagement across the program.
Pro: Premier is free to offer employees and includes managed communications and engagement campaigns.
Con: Extension feature availability depends on the member's perks platform, so the same extension may not provide the same experience to every audience.
Con: Organizations seeking a priced paid tier must request custom pricing rather than compare a published rate.

Tremendous provides free platform access for gift cards, prepaid cards and donations at face value, though some monetary payout methods may incur 4–6% fees. Culture Cloud is another option.

Verdict

Choose BenefitHub if your organization wants a branded savings and benefits program for employees or members, with engagement reporting and a free managed Premier option. Look elsewhere if your priority is a focused reward-sending tool, or if you need to know a paid subscription price before contacting the provider.
