Overview

Axomo is a swag management platform for organizations that want to manage branded merchandise and give recipients a choice of what they receive. It can configure a company store with pre-approved products, controlled logos, and budget rules. Employees use allocated credits to choose gear in their preferred size, color, and style, with items shipped to them.

Stores can be private for employees or public for customers, and can offer customizable branded merchandise. Axomo says it produces items on demand and ships to more than 150 countries. Its broader gifting setup includes campaigns, recipient choice, branded packages, and both gift catalogs and company-store merchandise.

For administrators, Axomo lists spend tracking, brand approval controls, HRIS integrations, role-based permissions, and reports covering best-selling items, user engagement, ROI, and other success indicators. It also describes integrations with employee rewards providers, SSO options, HR platforms, and other partners, with a public API linked from its integrations page.

Key features

Company stores: Configure stores for employees or customers, with approved merchandise, controlled logos, and budget rules.
Recipient choice: Employees can use allocated credits to choose gear by size, color, and style.
On-demand fulfillment: Axomo says it produces merchandise on demand and ships to more than 150 countries.
Program oversight: Spend tracking, approval controls, role-based permissions, and HRIS integrations support administration.
Performance reporting: Built-in reports can show best-selling products, engagement, ROI, and other indicators.
Integrations and API: Axomo lists connections to rewards companies, SSO options, HR platforms, and other partners, and links to a public API.

Security and access

Axomo states that it encrypts stored data with AES 256-bit encryption and uses TLS 1.2 or higher for data in transit. It says production access is limited by role and least-privilege rules to vetted personnel, with data access logged and monitored. For card payments, Stripe processes the card data, while Axomo stores a returned token rather than sensitive card information.

Axomo says its centrally managed SSO configuration supports SAML 1.1 and 2.0 solutions, including LDAP and Active Directory. One boundary to note is that safeguards for partner plug-ins and connectors are maintained by the partners; Axomo says those integrations are outside its control performance and application penetration testing.

Pricing

Axomo has a freemium pricing model and a free plan. The Essential Plan is listed at 3,499.00 USD per once, with a $3,499 minimum that includes 50 free users. The plan can be billed monthly or annually, and volume discounts are available for organizations with 500 or more employees. The pricing page does not clarify whether the minimum is a recurring software fee.

The Non-Profit Plan has no listed price. It is intended for K-12 educators, PTA organizations and school clubs, charitable 501(c) nonprofits, and startups with fewer than 10 active users; it offers unlimited items with no order minimum. Axomo + is listed as Call For Pricing for enterprise and swag-focused companies.

The Essential Plan lists live chat support. Axomo also provides sales and support email addresses.

Platforms

Axomo is available on the web. Its offering includes campaign automation, recipient choice, branded packages, global shipping, and API access.

Who it's for

Axomo is suited to organizations that want branded merchandise programs with recipient choice and centralized controls over products, branding, and budgets. Private employee stores and HRIS integrations support internal programs, while public customer stores provide another way to present branded merchandise. Its Non-Profit Plan is specifically described for educators, school groups, qualifying charities, and small startups, while Axomo + is positioned for enterprise and other swag-focused organizations.

Pros and cons

Pros: Recipients can select gear to suit their preferences; stores can serve employees or customers; reporting, spend controls, and role-based permissions support program management; stated fulfillment reaches more than 150 countries.
Cons: The Essential Plan's minimum billing terms are not fully clear; prices for the Non-Profit Plan and Axomo + are not listed; partner plug-in and connector safeguards sit outside Axomo's stated security testing and controls.

Alternatives

For other gifting and merchandise tools, consider CorporateGift, Goody, Imprint Engine, Loop & Tie, SwagUp, Postal, Snappy, and Giftbit. See the Sales Gifting Software list for more options in that category.

Verdict

Axomo brings company stores, employee choice, fulfillment, and program reporting into one web-based swag management offering. Its stated capabilities cover both internal and customer-facing stores, with controls for budgets and brand approvals and shipping to more than 150 countries. The main pricing caveat is the Essential Plan: although the page lists a $3,499 minimum and monthly or annual billing options, it does not say whether that minimum recurs as a software fee. Organizations evaluating it should also account for the fact that partner integrations' safeguards are maintained by those partners.
