Overview

Authoritas combines prospect discovery, campaign management, and tracking for natural and paid links. Teams can identify niche influencers, see the sites they contribute to and their social profiles, then add prospects to a link-building CRM. Competitor link research, imported links, task assignment, and campaign reporting give teams a way to coordinate outreach as well as find targets.

Its wider SEO data ecosystem is a potential advantage for teams already working with connected analytics and search tools. Authoritas says its platform connects Google Search Console, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Lighthouse API, Majestic, and OpenAI GPT-3 API. Its SEO database covers more than 125 million commercial keywords across 50 countries, with backlink data supplied by Majestic.

Key features

Prospect discovery and campaign workflows

Researching contributors and their publisher sites before adding them to a CRM helps keep prospecting tied to a campaign rather than scattered across separate lists. Multiple campaigns, competitor research, link imports, and assignable tasks support coordinated work; this is a more natural fit for teams running ongoing outreach than for someone seeking only a one-off prospect list.

Link tracking and support

Tracking both natural and paid links gives teams a way to follow outcomes beyond outreach activity. Support includes a help centre, live chat during UK office hours, email, and phone support Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 UK time. The privacy policy cautions that internet transmission can be vulnerable and cannot be guaranteed absolutely free from third-party access, a consideration for organisations assessing data handling.

Pricing

Authoritas uses a freemium model, with paid plans billed monthly. The free SEO plan is free and allows two domains, 1,000 keyword rank credits per month, and one user. It is useful for a narrow evaluation or a very small footprint, but the low credit and domain caps constrain sustained use; the account also requires a login at least once every 30 days to remain active.

Essential: 99.00 GBP per month, billed per month, for five domains, 15,000 keyword rank credits, and one user. This is the entry paid tier for a single-user operation that needs more capacity than the free plan.
Expert: 459.00 GBP per month, billed per month, for 35 domains, 100,000 keyword rank credits, and five users. It is the clearer fit for a team sharing work across a larger site portfolio.
Business: 679.00 GBP per month, billed per month, for 75 domains and 300,000 keyword rank credits, but one user. The larger quotas suit broad programmes, while the single seat makes it a poor fit for teams that need several people working in the account.

The free plan is the only no-cost way in; the paid tiers raise domain and rank-credit limits, but seats do not increase consistently with scale.

Platforms

Authoritas supports web and API access. That combination suits teams using the interface for campaign work while connecting platform data programmatically; it is not presented as a desktop or mobile app.

Who it's for

Authoritas is aimed at SEO and PR teams that need prospect research and organised outreach alongside link monitoring. The company describes large ecommerce, multi-location, and multinational brands as a fit for its large-scale projects, where the higher domain and credit limits can matter. A solo user with modest needs may find the free plan limiting, while a small team should check the seat count carefully before choosing a paid tier.

Pros and cons

Pros: Prospect discovery connects contributor research and social profiles to a link-building CRM, keeping target finding close to campaign execution.
Pros: Campaign coordination includes competitor link research, imported links, assigned tasks, and results reporting, supporting multi-campaign team workflows.
Pros: Web and API access, plus connections to major analytics, search, backlink, and AI services, can suit teams with an established SEO stack.
Cons: The free plan is limited to two domains, 1,000 monthly rank credits, and one user, and requires a login every 30 days to stay active.
Cons: Business includes only one user despite its 75-domain and 300,000-credit quotas, so its capacity does not translate into broader team access.
Cons: The privacy policy does not promise absolute protection from third-party access during internet transmission, which may matter to teams handling sensitive information.

Alternatives

LinkAssistant is worth considering if a desktop tool across Linux, macOS, and Windows is preferable: its free plan includes prospect search methods, project saving, and reports, with a 1,000-prospect project cap.

ColdSEO is a closer option for teams prioritising email outreach capacity: its free plan includes one inbox, 50 prospect credits and 100 email sends per month, plus one active campaign.

Verdict

Authoritas is a strong fit for SEO and PR teams that want prospect research, campaign coordination, and link monitoring in one platform, particularly at larger ecommerce or multi-site organisations. Its broad workflow and API access are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if you need generous free usage or several seats at the higher-capacity Business tier.
