Overview

Auctria is an event fundraising platform that supports the process from donation intake through bidding and receipts. It brings auctions, ticket sales, raffles, sponsorships, paddle raises, and mobile bidding into one event workflow. The company says it has operated since 2011 and has helped organizations raise over $1.75 billion.

Each event can have its own website, built from a template or a customized core template with branding, images, and video. For payments, Auctria integrates with Stripe and Authorize.Net, and organizers can record cash and check payments as well. Events can be run with an optional Admin app for staff and a Bidder app for participants.

Auctria is positioned for nonprofit fundraising, but its pricing FAQ says nonprofit status is not required. Readers comparing this type of tool can also browse Charity Auction Software, Fundraising Event Software, and Auction Software.

Key features

Fundraising formats and event websites

Auctria supports live, silent, and online auctions, alongside mobile bidding, raffles, ticket sales, sponsorships, and paddle raises. Each event can have a dedicated website using a template or a customized core template, with room for organizational branding, images, and video.

Mobile apps for organizers and bidders

The optional Admin app supports guest check-in, card and tap-to-pay checkout, and recording sales and bids. The Bidder app enables mobile bidding and alerts, giving participants a way to follow event activity on a phone.

Payments, reports, and data connections

Stripe and Authorize.Net integrations cover electronic payment processing, while cash and check payments can be recorded. Auctria says card details remain with the connected processor; it keeps a secure token rather than the full card number. The company also says its platform supports PCI DSS v4.0 responsibilities and enforces TLS, multifactor authentication, password complexity rules, account lockout, and session timeouts.

Organizers can use more than 100 customizable report templates and filters. Auctria says event data can be exported for CRM use, and spreadsheets can be imported or exported for bulk data transfers. Its Automations feature uses Zapier to send event-triggered notifications to services such as Slack, Gmail, and Google Calendar.

Who it's for

Auctria is suited to organizations that need to coordinate event fundraising across auctions, ticketing, payments, and post-event reporting. Its range of formats may be useful for teams running more than one kind of fundraising activity at an event, while the plan limits make bidder counts, annual income, and team size important factors when choosing a subscription. Nonprofit status is not required, according to Auctria's pricing FAQ.
