Overview

TimeSolv is time-and-expense software for teams that need to track billable work and review timesheets across desktop and mobile. It is especially suited to legal practices that need trust accounting or LEDES billing. Its broad device support and offline tracking are useful strengths, but custom pricing means buyers should compare the Pro and Legal plans before committing.

Key features

Time, expenses, and approvals

Project tracking and billable-time support make TimeSolv relevant to service teams that need to connect work with billable activity. Both plans include time and expense tracking, while timesheet approvals add a review step before recorded time is finalized. The feature set suits teams with approval needs, though those seeking a broader project-management tool should confirm that its project tracking is sufficient for their workflow.

Reports, export, and offline tracking

Financial and productivity reports are included in both plans, and data export gives teams a way to take their data elsewhere. Offline tracking can help when a connection is unavailable. Together, these capabilities cover reporting and continuity, but the precise export formats and offline workflow are not established.

Legal billing

Legal adds trust accounting and LEDES billing to the shared plan features. Those additions make it the more relevant choice for legal practices handling client trust funds or LEDES billing; teams that do not need either should weigh whether Pro is the better fit.

Pricing

TimeSolv is paid software with a 10-day trial and no free plan. Pro and Legal both include time and expense tracking, a mobile app, financial and productivity reports, and phone, email, and chat support. Pro is the general-purpose option; Legal adds trust accounting and LEDES billing for law practices. Both plans have custom pricing, so buyers should compare quotes against their feature needs before choosing.

No seat allowance or usage quota is stated for either plan. The 10-day trial offers a short evaluation period, but it does not replace confirming plan fit and ongoing cost before purchase.

Platforms

TimeSolv supports web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with mobile apps and a desktop app. Offline tracking is supported, making the product a practical candidate for teams that need to record work away from a reliable connection.

Who it's for

TimeSolv is best suited to billable-work teams that need time and expense tracking, approvals, reporting, and access across desktop and mobile. Legal practices that rely on trust accounting or LEDES billing have a clearer reason to choose Legal. It is less compelling for buyers who require a free plan or published pricing before they can assess cost.

Pros and cons

Pros: Both plans combine time and expense tracking with mobile access, reports, and phone, email, and chat support, giving teams a consistent core feature set.
Pros: Legal adds trust accounting and LEDES billing, addressing two specific legal-practice needs.
Pros: Web, desktop, and mobile support plus offline tracking offer flexibility across devices and connectivity conditions.
Cons: There is no free plan, and the trial lasts only 10 days, limiting no-cost evaluation.
Cons: Both plans have custom pricing, making it harder to compare cost without requesting a quote.

Verdict

Choose TimeSolv if your team needs billable-time and expense tracking with approvals, reporting, and multi-device access, especially if a legal practice needs trust accounting or LEDES billing. Look elsewhere if a free option or transparent pricing is essential; both plans require custom pricing, and there is no free plan.
