Overview

AgilePoint NX is a composable platform for coordinating workflows, applications, enterprise systems, and AI. AgilePoint describes it as an operational layer for governed orchestration: a way to connect systems and direct work across processes. Its visual, model-driven design supports building and running solutions without compilation or a virtual machine, while also allowing pro-code work.

The platform lists more than 1,200 reusable capability assets drawn from over 120 systems and internally built assets. Its integration catalog includes Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, UiPath, OpenAI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and AWS services. AgilePoint, the maker, was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Mountain View, California.

NX v10 adds features for AI-assisted application generation, agent-triggered workflows, and oversight of AI-driven process behavior. Its deployment choices include on-premises, private cloud, and SaaS; pricing also describes public cloud and hybrid options.

Key features

Workflows that can change while running

AgilePoint NX supports changes to an orchestration at runtime, including rollback, skipping, suspending, resuming, splitting or merging paths, and reworking part of a process. It also supports migrating work in flight. These adjustments do not require redeployment or recompilation, which gives process owners options when a running workflow needs to take a different route.

Reusable capabilities and integrations

The catalog spans more than 120 systems and includes both named third-party integrations and assets built in-house. The listed connections range from business platforms such as Salesforce and SAP to workflow, automation, AI, and cloud services such as UiPath, OpenAI, and AWS. The reusable assets give teams a starting point for composing solutions across those systems.

AI-assisted app creation and agent access

NX v10 can generate application experiences from inputs such as images, PDFs, mockups, documents, and external data sources. It also includes an MCP Server, which allows MCP-compatible AI agents to trigger AgilePoint workflows without custom integration code.

AI governance and security

The AI Control Tower supports public and private model strategies, with governance, observability, and controls for AI-driven process behavior. NX v10 also lists field-level encryption using customer-managed keys and API key management for external tools. AgilePoint says it is pursuing ISO 42001 certification; this is a stated pursuit, not a certification claim.

Application composition

The platform's visual, model-driven approach is designed for composition and execution without compilation or a virtual machine. It also supports pro-code development, so the no-code design model is not the only route available to teams building with NX.

Pricing

AgilePoint NX is freemium, with a free plan and a 30-day trial. The broad pricing note says paid plans start at $39/user/mo. Listed plans use different billing bases and minimums, so the seat price alone does not show the full cost of an eligible deployment.

Community Edition: Price not listed; up to 25 named users and 2 applications. Community-based support is listed.
Standard Edition: 39.00 USD per month, billed per named user, with a 50-seat minimum. It includes core connectors, SSO, public or private cloud or on-premises deployment, and standard 9–5 support.
Professional Edition — DCA seat: 195.00 USD per month, billed per DCA shared 10–25×, with a 35-seat minimum.
Professional Edition — named seat: 59.00 USD per month, billed DCA shared 10–25×, with a 35-seat minimum.
Professional Edition: 195.00 USD per month per DCA seat, or alternatively $59 per named seat, with DCA shared 10–25× and a 35-seat minimum. Listed features include advanced connectors, Mobile App Builder, Analytic Center, public or private cloud or on-premises deployment, and optional 24/7 support.
Dynamic Concurrent Access: 195.00 USD per month starting price; volume discounts apply. Seats are shared across humans and AI agents, with each seat serving 10–25 users on average.
Enterprise Edition: 19950.00 USD per month per production CPU core, with a two-core minimum. It includes unlimited users, advanced connectors and clustering, two non-production environments, hybrid private cloud and on-premises deployment, and optional 24/7 support.
CPU Core: 19950.00 USD per month per production CPU core, with a minimum of two cores. Unlimited managed users, clustering, and HA support are listed.
Named User Seat: 39.00 USD per month, with a 50-seat minimum. It provides one identity per perpetual seat and standard entitlement.
Anonymous External Users: Price not listed. Usage-based licensing supports secure interaction with unmanaged identities without seat allocation.

The pricing page positions Community Edition for up to 25 named users and Enterprise Edition for enterprise-wide rollouts with unlimited managed users. Standard Edition lists standard 9–5 support, while Professional and Enterprise list optional 24/7 support.

Platforms

AgilePoint NX is listed for Android, iOS, web, and Windows, with API access and self-hosted deployment also listed. Its deployment options include on-premises, private cloud, and SaaS, and pricing describes public cloud and hybrid deployment choices. The listed platform support spans mobile access as well as enterprise and self-hosted environments.

Who it's for

NX is aimed at organizations coordinating workflows across multiple systems, especially where processes need runtime flexibility and integration with both enterprise software and AI. Its catalog and reusable capabilities are relevant to teams working across tools such as Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, and AWS services.

The plan structure covers smaller deployments through Community Edition, which is positioned for up to 25 named users, and enterprise-wide rollouts through Enterprise Edition, with unlimited managed users. Standard and Professional plans specify seat minimums, so organizations evaluating those options should account for their required seat counts and billing basis. The platform's no-code composition can suit teams seeking visual development, while pro-code support leaves room for more technical implementation.

Pros and cons

Pros

Runtime changes include migration, partial rework, and path adjustments without redeployment or recompilation.
A broad reusable-asset catalog and named integrations connect workflows to enterprise, automation, AI, and cloud systems.
NX v10 supports app generation from several input types and MCP-compatible agent-triggered workflows.
AI governance features include public and private model strategies, observability, and process controls.
Deployment options include SaaS, private cloud, on-premises, and hybrid choices.

Cons

Many paid editions have minimums: 50 seats for Standard and 35 seats for Professional, while Enterprise requires at least two production CPU cores.
Several listed plans have no price, and DCA, named-seat, and CPU-core billing make the price list less straightforward to compare.
AgilePoint says it is pursuing ISO 42001 certification; the facts do not state that certification has been achieved.

Alternatives

For other options in this area, consider Bonita, Camunda, Decisions, PIX Processes, and HEFLO. The broader Business Process Management Software list may help when comparing process-focused products, while Low-Code Development Platforms and No-code app builders cover adjacent categories. Other listed options include Celonis Process Mining Platform, ProcessMind, and Bizagi Modeler.

Verdict

AgilePoint NX combines visual composition, workflow automation, a large reusable-capability catalog, and controls for AI-connected processes. Its runtime adaptation features stand out in the supplied feature set, alongside app generation and MCP support in NX v10. The main practical consideration is pricing structure: entry-level named-user pricing starts at 39.00 USD per month, but minimum seats, shared-access terms, and per-core enterprise billing materially shape the cost. It is best suited to organizations that need to orchestrate work across systems and can match the platform's deployment and licensing model to their rollout.
