Overview

Adacado is a web-based, do-it-yourself advertising platform for creating static or dynamic display ads and running campaigns across the web. It brings creative production and campaign management together: users can build ads, manage campaigns and advertisers, then review performance reports. Adacado describes delivery across display, social and connected TV from one dashboard.

The platform is designed for brands, businesses and agencies. It is not positioned as a fit for users who want fully managed advertising services or who run only social campaigns. Its pricing is usage-based, and a free option provides a limited daily impression allowance for a limited period.

Adacado is one option in Ad Design Software, a category where the right choice depends on whether a team needs creative tools alone or campaign delivery as well.

Key features

Ad creation and creative controls

The creative editor supports static and dynamic ads, animations, video, icons, customizable templates and a free stock library. Adacado also lists HTML5 and video ad creation, dynamic creative, automatic resizing and brand controls. These tools cover ad production as well as the formats and variations needed for campaigns.

Campaign operations and reporting

Campaign and advertiser management are included, with a multi-user feature for sharing advertiser access. Detailed ad performance reports can be viewed in the platform and downloaded by theme or format. Ad serving is included in the paid plans described below, while prospecting and retargeting options include media.

Commerce and data feeds

Shopify integration imports product inventory for dynamic product ads and shoppable ads. Shoppable ads connected through Dispatch can include a buy button for checkout within the ad. Product data feeds can be connected via hosted HTTP or HTTPS URLs or FTP; supported formats include CSV, TXT, XML Google Product Feeds and Google Sheets.

Privacy and support

Adacado’s privacy policy says users can opt out of interest-based advertising. In jurisdictions that require consent, it says it will not deliver interest-based ads without explicit consent. Support is available by email, and live chat is listed daily from 6am to 6pm Pacific time.

Pricing

Adacado says customers pay for what they use, without commitments or hidden fees. The listed prices are CPM rates, despite plan labels describing a monthly term; the pricing details specify the billed CPM basis. The free plan is limited to 300 free impressions per day per advertiser and 120 days of free advertising per advertiser.

Platforms

Adacado is available on the web. Campaigns can be delivered across display, social and connected TV according to Adacado, but the company notes that the service is not a fit for advertisers who run only social ads.

Who it's for

Adacado may suit brands, businesses and agencies that want to create display ads and manage campaigns in one platform, especially where dynamic product ads, Shopify inventory or shoppable checkout are relevant. Its advertiser sharing, reporting and feed support also speak to teams managing multiple advertisers or product catalogs.

It is a less suitable choice for organizations seeking fully managed campaign services, or for users whose advertising is exclusively social. The free plan can provide a way to begin, but its impression and duration limits are specific to each advertiser.

Pros and cons

Pros: static and dynamic creative tools, including animations, video, templates and a stock library.
Pros: campaign and advertiser management, multi-user access, downloadable reports and delivery across multiple channel types.
Pros: Shopify inventory integration, shoppable ads with in-ad checkout, and several feed connection methods and formats.
Pros: a free option and paid plans billed on a usage basis, with ad-serving-only, prospecting and retargeting choices.
Cons: Adacado says it is not intended for users who want fully managed services or only run social ads.
Cons: the free allowance is capped by daily impressions and a 120-day period per advertiser.

Alternatives

For a different approach to ad creation, consider BannerBoo, Google Web Designer or Marpipe. Other options to compare include Pencil, Quickads, Flexitive, Adzymic and ADExhibit.

Verdict

Adacado combines ad creation, campaign operations and reporting in a web platform, with particular depth in dynamic ads, product feeds and commerce-oriented formats. The free plan and CPM-based paid choices offer distinct entry points, though the free impressions are limited and pricing should be understood as usage-based rather than a flat software subscription. It is worth considering for teams that want self-service campaign management across display and other supported channels; those seeking an agency-style managed service or social-only workflow should look elsewhere.
