Yokee
Yokee is a karaoke app for Android and iOS that lets users choose songs from third-party streaming websites, sing along, and record performances.
What Yokee is
Yokee is a karaoke app for Android and iOS that lets users choose songs from third-party streaming websites, sing along, and record performances. Its site describes an extensive catalog of karaoke music and music videos. Recordings can be shared privately or publicly, and users can listen to friends’ performances. Songs stream from YouTube, so loading time depends on YouTube and the user’s internet connection. Users can upload their own songs through upload.yokee.tv from a desktop or laptop. The service does not support offline use, and its terms restrict use to personal, non-commercial purposes. A subscription includes seven days free, then renews automatically unless canceled before the free period ends; no subscription price is listed. Yokee is available through Google Play and links to an iTunes download. Its job page says Yokee Music was founded in 2013 and acquired by Stingray Music. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
