WorkCell APS
WorkCell APS creates finite-capacity production schedules that account for machine, operator, tooling, material, and routing constraints.
What WorkCell APS is
WorkCell APS creates finite-capacity production schedules that account for machine, operator, tooling, material, and routing constraints. Planners can test schedule changes in a sandbox, compare outcomes, then commit a proposal without changing the live plan until they accept it. When jobs slip, machines go down, or priority orders arrive, the scheduler can re-sequence downstream operations. The APS page connects scheduling with shop-floor execution, inventory readiness, and actual production progress. Core includes production scheduling, job costing, shop-floor data collection, inventory, and QuickBooks or Xero connections. Professional adds all integrations and API access, MRP and demand planning, and AI scheduling. There is no self-serve free trial, though WorkCell says it can provide an environment seeded with manufacturing data before commitment. Every plan includes standard support. WorkCell says it hosts customer data in US-based regions and is working toward a SOC 2 Type II audit, but is not certified today.
