What Veritext Virtual is
Veritext Virtual is a remote deposition service for participants who need to see and hear a deponent and other attendees over an internet connection. A session can include five to 500 people, with live video of the deponent, questioners, and participants. Attendees can follow transcript text as it streams, pause or scroll it, add annotations and case-specific issue codes, and save it. Exhibit Share lets participants view and stamp exhibits during the proceeding. If a videographer is present and recording is requested, Veritext can provide a trial-ready video deliverable.
Participants access proceedings and Exhibit Share through MyVeritext. Veritext says it uses Zoom for telephone, chat, meeting, and remote proceeding services. Current Chrome, Safari, and Firefox versions are supported; Internet Explorer is not. Mobile users need the Zoom app, and cannot view Zoom and Exhibit Share at the same time. Veritext provides on-call technical help and offers scheduled support with a private breakout room or dedicated technician. Pricing is available on request.
