What Tray ERP is

Tray ERP is a web-based ERP for food and beverage operations managing receiving, production, and fulfillment. It includes recipe formulation, production planning, inventory management, quality management, compliance records, and lot traceability. Each lot can be followed through the batch it became to the customer it reached, while allergen declarations roll up through sub-recipes. Receiving staff can inspect, hold, or reject incoming product. The barcode-native system includes a camera-based scanner in its mobile-responsive web app, and Tray says reports provide CFIA, FDA, GFSI, and HACCP evidence. Tray runs alongside existing accounting systems rather than replacing them; order and invoice data can be exported to CSV, while direct API sync with QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero is on the near-term roadmap. Purchase orders and documents can be emailed through Microsoft 365 or SMTP. Every plan includes cloud hosting, Canadian data residency, daily encrypted backups, and a 99.9% uptime target. Products, lots, BOMs, orders, and audit trails can be exported to CSV or a full database backup at no charge. Plans include Starter, Growth, Scale, and Enterprise, with pricing organized by revenue and usage limits.
