Stitch Era is embroidery design software for Windows, aimed at small apparel decoration shops and home embroiderers. It can digitize raster or vector artwork automatically or manually, and its vectorizer converts raster images into editable vector objects. Users can modify individual stitches by changing stitch types, moving endpoints, or adding and deleting stitches. Lettering tools work with pre-digitized fonts and TrueType fonts installed on the computer. The software supports formats including DST, PES, JEF, and HUS, along with many other machine formats. The maker says it supports most embroidery machine brands and models, though feature availability may depend on software level or configuration. Listed design limits are up to 12,000 or 40,000 stitches, depending on configuration. Pricing is on request. The maker recommends 64-bit Windows 11 Professional and says some Windows 10 64-bit systems may also be compatible. Subscription licenses require a permanent high-speed internet connection.
