Sholi

What Sholi is

Sholi is a shopping list app for coordinating purchases in households, couples, or shared homes. It works in a browser without a download or lengthy installation, as well as on Android and iOS. Users can send a list link through WhatsApp, Messenger, or email, and anyone with the link can join. Sholi says lists sync instantly and stay usable offline, with changes sent when the device reconnects. It recognizes hundreds of foods and sorts items by store aisle. The app does not require registration. Lists are stored mainly on the user's device in LocalStorage; shared lists are transmitted encrypted to a server and accessed with an anonymous token. The maker says Sholi does not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Camera access occurs only when a user requests a photo for an item, and the maker says third parties do not analyze those photos. The free plan includes unlimited lists, no fees, and no ads. One recovery limit is worth noting: if a user loses the backup link and clears browser history, the maker says it cannot recover the data.
