What Schoop is
Schoop is a multilingual communication app for schools and other organisations. It lets schools send alerts, events, newsletters, letters, forms and surveys to whole schools, selected year or class groups, or individual recipients. Alerts can contain up to 500 characters and be scheduled. Content can be translated automatically or manually into 41 languages. Schools can share unlimited letters, homework, newsletters, images, embedded video and uploaded documents. Forms collect trip permissions, consent, illness or absence information, while survey results appear in tables, graphs and charts. Its calendar shows term dates and events and sends reminders 24 hours and one hour beforehand. Parents without smartphones or tablets can receive the same messages and calendar events by email at no extra cost to the school. Schoop offers Android, iOS and web access, plus email subscription without registration. It integrates with websites and imported calendars, uses encrypted identifying data, and provides email or telephone support.
