What Roompact is

Roompact is cloud-based residence life software for colleges and universities, focused on educational and community work after residents move into halls. The Hub provides a running activity feed, while a campus dashboard organizes communities, notes, status colors, and histories. Staff can create forms, assign tasks, track completion, manage duty and desk shifts, coordinate shift trades, propose events, and record attendance by QR code, log, or upload. The Message Center handles email and text communication, including replies to resident texts, and microsurveys provide one-question pulse checks. Additional tools cover roommate agreements, staff applications, interview scheduling, placement, reports, and AI features for trends and student-history summaries. Roompact lists single sign-on, automated feeds, housing-system integrations, JSON roster updates, and a REST API. It offers resident accounts, downloadable data and reports, encrypted storage, role controls, RAMP, and FERPA compliance. Pricing is by residential student count, with annual and setup fees.
