Qurbie is a platform for managing contractor payments and compliance, focused on 1099 contractors rather than full payroll services. Contractors can enter hours and request payment; a business must approve the work before direct deposit is made. Qurbie says approved payments arrive in about 1–3 business days. During onboarding, it handles contractor contracts and tax information collection, and businesses can review and e-file 1099 forms at year-end. The service also provides real-time reporting and alerts for contractor management. Qurbie says sensitive information is hidden unless a person with the right permissions requests it, and that transactions and data access are logged. Employee data is held for at least seven years, with options for businesses to export and print forms. Qurbie is available on Android, iOS, and the web. There is no free plan. Essential costs $25 a month and charges 2.5% capped at $40 per payment; Professional costs $50 a month and charges 2% capped at $35 per payment.
