Polylang
Polylang is a WordPress plugin for creating multilingual websites and translating WordPress content.
What Polylang is
Polylang is a WordPress plugin for creating multilingual websites and translating WordPress content. It handles pages, posts, media, categories, tags, custom post types, menus and widgets, with language URLs arranged in subdirectories, subdomains or separate domains. Polylang Pro supports manual translation and DeepL machine translation using the customer's own DeepL API key. It also offers language switchers, browser language detection, translated URL slugs, hreflang and Open Graph tags, and language-specific meta tags. Pro integrates with the WordPress block editor and Site Editor, supports the REST API, and can import and export translation projects in XLIFF format. Listed integrations include WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Advanced Custom Fields Pro, Custom Post Type UI, WooCommerce Subscriptions and The Events Calendar. A multilingual WooCommerce shop requires Polylang or Polylang Pro together with the Polylang for WooCommerce add-on. DeepL translation is not currently compatible with Elementor and some builders, and Pro has no one-click translate-everything feature.
