Pex Search
Pex Search identifies music and rightsholders for licensing, compliance, and anti-piracy work.
What Pex Search is
Pex Search identifies music and rightsholders for licensing, compliance, and anti-piracy work. It can check full files against databases, public content, or user uploads and return results in real time through its SDK. The Vobile Music Registry includes more than 120 million recordings, among them Sony, Universal, and Warner catalog. Search can identify remixes, mashups, nightcore edits, short excerpts, and multi-track mixes. Melody matching can also find covers, live performances, and other uses of compositions that differ from original recordings. Brands can check social media posts during or after upload, or ask the Vobile Music Team for a custom audit. SDK bindings are listed for Python, Go, PHP, and Node.js. Production documentation lists Debian 11+, Ubuntu 20.04+, and Red Hat 8+; ARM-based Mac builds are for development and testing only. The API is in private testing and is not publicly available. Pex Search is paid, with pricing on request.
