OxideSEO is a free, open-source desktop app for crawling websites and auditing technical SEO. It runs on Linux, macOS, and Windows, with a listed price of no cost and no subscription or URL limits. Its 21 built-in checks cover meta tags, content, links, images, performance, and security. Users can set crawl concurrency, depth limits, and URL pattern filters, while cross-page analysis can find duplicate titles, orphan pages, and broken internal links. The crawler respects robots.txt, applies per-domain rate limits and crawl delay, and discovers XML sitemaps. For JavaScript-heavy pages, a headless webview renders content to support single-page applications. Reports can be exported as CSV, NDJSON, HTML, PDF, or XLSX. Optional AI analysis can use OpenAI, Anthropic, or local Ollama models with API keys supplied by the user. Sandboxed WASM and native plugins can add custom rules, export formats, and post-crawl processing. The project says crawls run locally, without telemetry or analytics or data leaving the computer, and that there are no external service dependencies.
