What Make a Meme is
Make a Meme is a free web meme generator for adding custom text and images to templates. Users can select popular templates, search more than a million user-uploaded options, or upload a template from a device or URL. Editing includes text, images, stickers, drawings, and spacing controls. An AI generator creates top and bottom meme text from prompts, with Standard, Funny, Serious, Sassy, and Sad tones; its page identifies ChatGPT, Perplexity.ai, and Claude AI as prompt interpreters. Finished memes can be shared to social apps, by link, through downloads, or in site communities. Memes may be public or private, although private status requires a free login. Registering provides extra options, and the generator promotes unlocking 50+ fonts. The web service offers watermark-free exports and no mobile apps. Its terms require users to be at least 13 and prohibit sexually explicit material, hate speech, graphic violence, and other listed content.
