Korr

What Korr is

Korr is a free spelling and grammar checker for personal or professional use. It analyzes text and suggests corrections, with style suggestions available, across French, English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese on the website and browser extension. The Windows app supports French and English. Korr is offered as a website, browser extension, and Windows desktop app. The extension works in Gmail, Slack, and text fields, while the site also names Outlook and LinkedIn. On Windows, selected text in programs such as Word, Outlook, and Discord can be checked with Ctrl+Alt+C. Processing happens in the browser or on the computer rather than through a correction server. Users can inspect each change in its sentence and reject individual changes. A personal dictionary stays on the device and is not synchronized or transmitted. The free plan is free, with no account, subscription, usage limit, or paid tier.
