What Kolab Now is

Kolab Now is a paid email and groupware service from a maker headquartered in Bern, Switzerland. It is available on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Mailboxes have 5 GB of storage, and mail protocol support includes IMAP and SMTP. Users can connect a custom domain, but end-to-end encryption is not provided. There is no free plan, though a 30-day trial is available. Secure Email costs 5 CHF a month, billed monthly, and includes 5 GB of storage. Full Kolab Groupware costs 9.90 CHF a month, also billed monthly, with the same listed storage allowance. The stated starting price is 5 CHF/user/mo. Kolab Now may suit people who want paid email with standard mail protocol support, custom-domain capability, and access across desktop and mobile platforms. Buyers considering the plans should note that both list 5 GB of storage, while the service does not offer end-to-end encryption.
