Kayak Shop is Atex’s digital paywall and subscription solution for newspaper, magazine, and digital media publishers. It manages print and digital subscriptions together, including bundles that combine products across channels. Publishers can place registration walls and define access entitlements using content tags, categories, authors, or publication dates, while registration flows collect first-party data. Subscription management includes CRM, product and bundle administration, upsell offers, invoicing, and campaign tools for physical and digital products. The storefront supports subscription purchases and lets customers manage subscriptions, billing, and preferences. Identity options include OpenID single sign-on, federated identity, and social login through Google, Facebook, Apple, and Amazon. Kayak Shop includes native Stripe payments, with other gateways connectable through its API framework. REST APIs, workflow automation, and financial and banking integrations are described.
