What Kanri is

Kanri is a software-as-a-service platform for martial arts schools and fitness studios to manage memberships, communication, payments, schedules, and attendance. Recurring billing can run daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, with automated payment-failure retries and cancellations. Schools can accept credit and debit cards, Canadian EFT/PAD, US ACH, Interac, cash, and e-transfer payments. Recurring class schedules can span programs and locations, with attendance tracked per session. Members can use a mobile-optimized iOS and Android portal to book classes, view progress, pay invoices, and stay connected. Kanri also includes Kai, a role-aware assistant that can answer questions, pull reports, surface insights, draft messages, and provide platform guidance; Kanri says account data is not used to train AI models. Integrations include or rely on Stripe, Zapier, QuickBooks, Xero, Apple App Store, Google Play, and domain registrars. Kanri says its infrastructure and customer data are hosted in Canada. Plans start with Starter at $99 a month, billed monthly; subscriptions include C$10 per month in usage credits toward SMS and MMS charges. The service agreement provides no uptime commitment or service-level agreement unless separately agreed in writing.
