What Edraak is
Edraak is a free Arabic-language massive open online course platform founded in 2014 and headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Courses are created by Arab experts and academics, with some international material translated into Arabic, and cover varied subjects and levels for Arabic speakers. Learners can use course content, quizzes, results, and discussion areas. When course requirements are met, a free completion certificate may be available, although some short courses do not offer certificates. Edraak says it works in partnership with edX and also presents a school education platform alongside courses and specializations. The service runs on the web and through Android and iOS apps; mobile users can download lectures for offline viewing. A searchable Help Center provides guidance and lets learners submit questions. Edraak has a free plan and no free trial. Its privacy policy says the site is not directed at children under 18 and requires parental or guardian consent for underage users.
