What CaterCamp is

CaterCamp is a cloud-based business management platform for caterers and personal chefs. Its web tools bring together customer records, events, menus, proposals, contracts, scheduling, equipment tracking, dietary management, invoicing and a client portal. The menu builder records serving prices and costs, ingredient quantities, recipe yields, dietary labels, allergens and cross-contact notes. CaterCamp can generate Banquet Event Orders from event data and export them as PDFs. Clients can review proposals and invoices, approve BEO revisions and final counts, submit dietary requirements, request changes, message the team and share file links. They can pay online through the caterer’s configured Stripe or PayPal account. Professional plans include private calendar feeds. CaterCamp says it uses encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular security audits. Customers retain ownership of their business data and can export it at any time; after account termination, data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion unless law requires longer. Plans can be canceled anytime without fees or long-term contracts.
