What BIOSTAR RACING GT EVO is
BIOSTAR RACING GT EVO is a free Windows utility bundled with BIOSTAR motherboards. Its stated function is controlling onboard motherboard lighting through the VIVID LED DJ feature. BIOSTAR says compatible RACING motherboards can connect VIVID LED DJ with the Razer Chroma ecosystem for synchronized gaming lighting. The utility appears within a wider motherboard feature set that can include 5050 LED FUN ZONE, Dual BIOS, BIO-FLASHER, and Iron Slot Protection. A listed Z370GT6 motherboard supports Windows 10 (x64) and includes Racing GT EVO Utility with BullGuard and Intel Rapid Storage Technology. That board also lists CPU and system temperature monitoring, fan monitoring, smart or manual CPU fan control, and system voltage monitoring; these are motherboard capabilities rather than the utility’s stated lighting role. BIOSTAR provides product support downloads and a technical FAQ explaining how to locate BIOS files. The company was established in 1986 and lists its address in New Taipei City, Taiwan. RACING GT EVO is intended for compatible BIOSTAR component hardware.
