Big-AGI is a local-first AI workspace for using multiple models, comparing their responses, and refining decisions. It connects to more than 800 models from over 30 providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, Perplexity, LocalAI, LM Studio, and Ollama. You bring your own provider API keys; Big-AGI says it adds no model-use charge or markup, so provider rates are paid directly. Beam can run 2 to 24 models in parallel and stream replies, then Merge can combine them with Fuse, Guided, Compare, or a custom prompt. Personas can store instructions, documents, images, memory, model choices, parameters, reinforcements, custom merges, and voice. Controls cover effort, temperature, verbosity, reasoning budget, search, and tools. AI Inspector displays the outgoing request, including model, parameters, tokens, and cost. Browser storage keeps conversations, personas, and preferences local by default. Big-AGI runs on Linux, macOS, Windows, web, and self-hosted deployments, with web search, uploads, image generation, integrations, and team workspaces.
