What Bablab is
Bablab is a web-based website builder for photographers, artists, designers, and other visual professionals who need portfolio sites and client galleries. Its drag-and-drop editor uses customizable content blocks without code. Galleries support layouts, grids, fullscreen lightboxes, and keyboard controls. Clients can select favorite photos on desktop or mobile, while owners can set selection caps and export filenames. Video blocks accept computer uploads and YouTube or Vimeo embeds. Page metadata, structured data, and Open Graph controls support portfolio discovery. Bablab says sites do not use cookies or collect personal data by default, and it offers analytics based on anonymous server logs. Sites are hosted on its managed cloud infrastructure and cannot be downloaded for hosting elsewhere. Paid subscribers can use a custom domain with automatically issued and renewed SSL/TLS certificates. Bablab was founded in 2018.
