What Azure API Center is

Azure API Center is a web service for organizing and governing APIs through their lifecycle. It supports OpenAPI and AsyncAPI definitions, with style guide enforcement and API linting to help teams apply consistent rules. Lifecycle controls support governance as APIs progress, and role-based access control lets organizations assign access according to user roles. CI/CD integration connects API governance with delivery workflows. The Free plan provides full feature capabilities for the first five APIs and has no time limit. The pricing page also separately describes a 90-day evaluation plan. The Standard plan supports registration of up to 10,000 APIs and up to three analysis profiles; it is included at no additional cost for users with linked API Management Standard, Standard v2, Premium, or Prem plans.
