What ASUS WebStorage is
ASUS WebStorage is a cloud document management service for individuals and small and medium-sized teams. Its xDrive stores files in the cloud through a folder-like interface and synchronizes changes between computers and the cloud when connected. Auto-Backup can copy selected computer or external-drive folders and restore files to a chosen time. The mobile app supports photo backup and access to and sharing of cloud files. Sharing links can be configured with access permissions, passwords, and expiration dates. ASUS states that xDrive uses AES-256 data encryption and TLS 1.2 transmission encryption. The service supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. A new-member offer is listed as free for 1 TB over 14 days; the service also has a free plan, a free trial, and pricing on request. ASUS says xAgent Connect is coming soon, for connecting AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to authorized files. Linux Sync, ASUSTOR NAS sync, and the Outlook add-in stopped receiving updates, maintenance, and technical support after July 2026.
