What Aedon is
Aedon is a local AI voice enhancer for Mac calls that removes background noise, restores audio detail, and applies voice styles before audio reaches a call app. It runs as a virtual microphone and analyzes your voice on the Mac to create a local profile. Presets are Clear, Broadcast, Podcast, and Warm. Its noise-removal model is designed for real-time calls and optimized for Apple Silicon; audio restoration predicts and rebuilds high-frequency detail lost in Bluetooth call audio.
Aedon says processing happens locally, without cloud processing or cloud uploads. It names Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Discord, and OBS as supported, and says it works with most Mac audio apps. macOS 14.0 or later is required. The seven-day free trial includes the full voice engine and requires no credit card. Standard costs 39.00 USD once for up to two Macs and one year of updates; renewals are $19 a year now or $29 a year after launch. Lifetime costs 79.00 USD once for up to two Macs and includes all future updates.
